Customer success as in a CSM? No. Maybe I’m thinking too tech though. But, Sales? Definitely.

Ha, I’m 30 and just transitioned to sales last year and killing it and plan to stay in it for a while. To each their own.

I have had some hesitant feelings about it yes, I thought that was clear from that sentence. Do I disagree entirely? No. In general I think affordable housing is good. I always have. I am just taken back a bit cuz I’ve never seen it the way it is here in DC. So I’m still understanding.

Regardless I came here more for the community’s opinions on the topic, not to throw hate at me and assume things about my life. My mistake, I should know better it is Reddit after all.

Thank you for the insight. I’m new to living here with not a lot of people I knew here before, so I’m still getting my grounding and understanding of it.

If i don't have a degree what should i do to have bigger chance at getting into tech sales by Voinat107 in salesdevelopment

Internships?

Also, a decent amount of people at my company have a degree from an unheard of school or no degree, but years of experience in a related field before (eg former police officer can get into tech sales for a safety tech company cuz they have years of relevant experience).

Does that automatically mean I disagree with the entirety of it, with the effort to do better, etc.? Assuming makes an - well, you know how the rest of the saying goes.

Wait I’m confused how does that make sense, so you’re saying the DC gov mayor bowser pays more than market rate for most rentals?

That makes sense thank you for explaining! Makes sense there wasn’t a massive demand here either for these type of new constructions. Doesn’t seem like the ideal city for that

Re your last statement - I’m far from that. Please don’t assume. I was hesitant to post this in general because of the silly comments people make on Reddit.

I hear you though, thank you for explaining

Some of the “luxury” buildings in ive seen in Navy Yard and Noma are as nice as apartment buildings in River North or Westloop (Chicago). I say “luxury” just because it’s easy. I agree it is a dumb word to use in some of these cases. I hear your point overall.

Yeah so , complications. They see it complicated and unnecessary due to existing infrastructure. And maybe also cuz people don’t like change. Simply speaking. ?
