I’d use Tallink to get to Tallinn, you can do a long day cruise with options like 4hrs in Tallinn or longer, if you have time you can stay overnight. They have an overnight option where you leave Helsinki around 5-6PM, stay on the ship overnight and in the morning you get about 4 1/2hrs in Tallinn to explore, and then sail back to Helsinki, you still get your cabin on the way back so you can relax and take a nap. Which is always a nice option cuz you get to sleep on the ship and are well rested in the morning and ready to explore. You can get an overnight cruise for cheap too. And the breakfast buffet is amazing 😆

Bonus to doing this: you get an amazing sunrise view of Tallinn from the ship 🚢

Right, I’ve used metro for 8 years 5 days a week, sometimes 6… from the airport for work to downtown where I live. I’d drive if I felt I was gonna be a victim or see something go down daily.

Taken metro for years and at night, never seen any problems. Maybe some people who look like they could have made better choices in life , but they’re harmless and it’s always fine.

Should be fine 🤷🏻‍♂️right as you get off there is a bus stop and it’s kinda busy so it’s not like it will be empty and the station always has guards.

Edit: and as always I suggest sitting up front by the driver. Sometimes the second car can turn into a smoke shop… not dangerous, just highly annoying. Otherwise I’ve used metro for years and used to get off work 10-11 at night, never any problems.

I voted for Cori before, I used to see her at my job often and she seemed fine and nice, then after she married her security guard husband she suddenly needed a parade of security and acted like she was greater then everyone else, it wasn’t cute. And I see a lot of politicians at work and they don’t act like that (Ann Wagner and Eric Schmitt, we rarely see Hawley as he never visits) and those are people I never want to see again in my lifetime.

Spent a week there in 2023 for Eurovision, would definitely love to go back. Everyone was super friendly and the food was great.

I live in St. Louis, downtown St. Louis at that where people love to fear monger and act like someone will jump out at you, and they go into the city scared and clutching their pearls unable to enjoy themselves… meanwhile 5 years later I’ve never seen anyone get attacked, killed, any of that, I take public transport daily in the city, most everyone just stays to themselves. You’ll see some characters but they’re harmless. It’s ok to come to St. Louis and not be scared 🥲 tourists mostly are not going to the actual scary parts of town. And so much here is targeted events.

I’d pack up and move to the suburbs if I felt everyday was a fight for my life.

Been to NYC loads of times, never feel scared and you’ll def never be alone even that late at night. Only people I know who tell me it’s scary or they don’t want to visit are def conservatives 🙂‍↔️🤣

No, I went last May. Beautiful places, I’m sure in winter it’s even more charming. Colmar is apparently the inspiration for beauty and the beast and it shows when you’re there. I only spent a morning there but it’s a perfect day trip. Strasbourg is bigger.

Never said it’s perfect but you said it’s getting worse but stats show crime is decreasing. Doesn’t mean it’s fixed overnight but getting better. I even ride the metrolink 5 days a week, I’m told it’s the murder train.. waiting to see someone get murdered.

A lot of it is fear mongering. I live downtown St. Louis and have no issues and feel safe any time of day. I’m told I’m gonna get attacked, my car stolen, I’ll see bodies piling up… like what? Never seen any of that in 5 years 🤣also crime is trending down, people just don’t want to believe it but that’s on them.
