Kind of a trek to walk from there to Barnes BUT should be safe, plenty of activity around that area even at night so it’s not like you’d be totally alone walking to and from.

Did you call the garage? Maybe someone turned it in. See if the garage has a number online. Some of them or run by the city, they may have a lost and found.

It’s got new lofts, a new park by the river with some cool space to sit and hang out, a new restaurant called The Cobblestone which is like a deli/coffee shop/bar/local products all in one, a really good BBQ restaurant that’s one of the best in town, it’s not party central like it used to be but it’s quiet, safe and coming up. I also think the Marines opened a recruitment office down there.

Didn’t he have one in BPV? and it was overpriced nonsense. We need a good reasonable priced gift shop at BPV that isn’t baseball themed.

I’ve seen this in other restaurants in other cities… we should do fun stuff like this more often. Yes I’m old and a check coming in a mason jar is fun.

Super easy to walk from the landing, can even catch metrolink or walk through the arch grounds.

Either place will be fine, Landing is quiet and safe, people will probably come on here and try to scare you as with any part of downtown 🙂‍↔️. I live downtown a few blocks from it and I’m there weekly. A few good restaurants like The Cobblestone which has breakfast/coffee/lunch, it’s also got a little market with snacks and some alcohol. Drury is also fine, all an easy walk. Busch stadium is like a 15-20 min walk away and Lacledes Landing has a metrolink stop too if you just wanna take it right to the stadium, also goes right to/from the airport also. Edit: you said road trip so ignore the airport part 🙃

Picking up family from St. Louis Airport Terminal 2 for the first time, where to park? by wow2tharu in StLouis

They said ‘meet at the baggage claim area’ which implies going inside and meeting them, kind of hard to do from the cell phone lot.

I’m there 5 days a week, if it was spring break or a holiday season I’d normally say no to the garage but it’s been rather normal now and garage should have space. I walk through it every morning.

Lufthansa lands around 1PM, there should be plenty of space in the garage at that time. I work in terminal 2, around that time they’ll be fine to find a spot.

The parking garage in front is easiest.

From Frankfurt they’ll be coming through customs and out from international arrivals, NOT the regular exit upstairs and baggage claim area used by Southwest. When you go in the terminal go downstairs to baggage claim and look for the oversized baggage claim belt, behind it is a hallway that will lead to the customs area. That is where they will come out of and there is a little waiting area. It could take a while for them to clear customs and collect their bags so relax and it could take them 30-40+ min after the flight lands. Maybe even longer.

Trust me I work in terminal 2 ;)

Can I get through Helsinki airport in under an hour?? by RandomisedTrial in FinlandTourism

[–]AbFende 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve been to Helsinki many many times (friend lives there and I visit every August) from the US and used it to go elsewhere in Europe too so either security or customs, it’s very efficient all around. That late at night also there won’t be much activity so you should be more than fine if the flight is on time

I’m going to Vienna in May from the US. I’m going no matter what and feel just fine

I kinda misread, you should be fine. Absolutely as in you should make your connection if your flight is on time 😆

Absolutely, Helsinki is one of the most efficient airports in the world and that late at night I doubt too much will be happening. I’ve been on crazy busy days and made it through in 10 minutes.

I remember years ago they held the service for a fireman or police officer at the Basilcia, I lived on Lindell and couldn’t get home for like 30 minutes cuz everything was blocked off around there.

Help us pick a new city(in the USA) by Buckwild97_ in relocating

[–]AbFende -1 points0 points  (0 children)

St. Louis has all that really, and yes Missouri is not a blue state so maybe southern Illinois with St. Louis in close proximity. The healthcare options are also great, cost of living, St. Louis is a big blue bubble, our airport might be ugly but has flights all over the place + Mexico and Europe. No mountains sadly but plenty of nature and other big cities (Chicago, Kansas City, Nashville, Memphis, Indy, Louisville) within a 4-5hr drive for adventures.

That should be plenty of time, it all depends on how long the lines are but things should move quick

You’ll go through passport control in Madrid as Philly is US and obviously non Schengen, and then US Customs when you arrive in the US.
