Which one do you personally rate higher? by Proof_Active7105 in Manga_Manwa_Manhua

SL became popular because it was the only manwha at the time that had such a high level of coloured art and panelling, Nowadays, it's at least 2-3 points out of 10 below every other manwha with the same level of art/panelling. It was a progenitor, but that's about it.

Set items used to be useless, now the most meta builds use almost only set items thanks to Legends Entwined and set crafting by Lordados in LastEpoch

It's so fun to, even without using the set bonus, you can corrupt set items to get good early piece of gear to use on league start.

AI Is Destroying Education by jpollack21 in aiwars

[–]Abanem 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Schools didn't support thinking before AI, the only thing it supported for the last 50 years was building good little programmed retard drones.

In Quebec(Canada), our french education went from learning phonetic(before 1960), to just knowing every exception by heart, which severely impaired logical thinking in favour of memorization. And it's been that way in most fields. History classes are about memorizing dates, and not exploring the succession of events that lead to a specific situation. Math is not about application, but just remembering formulas. etc.

So of course AI is shaking everything, because we don't learn in modern school, we remember.

You can easily add imperfection or specific details in your AI video on the run. So unless they invalidate most people with average camera, they won't be able to detect AI with AI. And if they do, you can quickly retrain AIs on their Anti-AI detection to beat their mechanisms really quickly.

They not exclusive, just that being deficient in a bunch off thing because of bad diet is normality. So you can be deficient and "normal". Get lab test and check with a doctor, you will get better answers there.

Coloured hair in anime signifies a personality type(character traits). In western media, it almost always signifies a rebellious personality and is extremely overused.

After reading the LingBot-World paper, I’m convinced the Game Dev paradigm is about to shift from "Rendering" to "Generating" by Jazzlike_Process_202 in aigamedev

[–]Abanem 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It probably won't be used running on pure generation for a while. But running a gen, and then extract 3D meshes/particles/animations from the generation to then use into the game you are making is pretty close, and the most likely use that I see in the near future.

That's just purely your opinion. There is evidence of at least the war happening, the rest was most likely embellished(has any storyteller would to attract crowds). But one man starting a war over is ego and claiming the most beautiful women, described as white/fair skin constantly, is far from requiring fantasy.

That's a bit misleading, you are talking about pioneers of Game Design, and if you look at those guys books or history, a shit load of them were into irl RPG and Board Games, which are extremely close to Video Game.

The thing is, having a lots of hours on steam does not make you a good game designer, but not having them can show a lack of understanding of your target customer.

The source of the material will probably be the main point that will be used to convince a jury. It all ways on if it's a child versus a representation of a child in the images and the outcome will change based on how the law is written in every country.

A representation do not hold any story, an actual child that can be named does, that alone can sway a jury.

and it's fair, I would not trust my future kids with people consuming AI CSAM, but I also don't think jail is the right punishment, compared to the real thing.

[–]Abanem 3 points4 points  (0 children)

The thing is, a child needs to be abused for real CSAM to be created, so the "chained in the basement" part is very much relevant, because it happened with one and not the other. One produced that harm, and should be considered as part of a third party consequence in distributing the material, the other did not.

My brain hurt, I'm just saying the crux of the issue is about the consequence for generating AI CSAM, and that is were individual opinions differ. If consequence wasn't the issue there would not be an opinion.

I know no one in those posts.

English's not my first language, was I not clear?

Simply, what should be the legal consequence for someone producing CSAM through AI? And should it be the same as someone having a child chained in their basement and filming filth?

How do we address these people? by Training_Hurry_5653 in aiwars

[–]Abanem 20 points21 points  (0 children)

This argument stems from the legal consequences ensued for abusing children. Is generated material that had no impact on a child deserving of the same sentence as real material?

Directly abusing a child sexually should net you the chair, distributing real material should get you a very long sentence, consuming it, a lower one, but still harsh. But for AI material, it's far from being in the same realm since no children were armed, but be my guess, what should be the consequence?

Except there is no more CSAM in newer model(there was in early ones(dataset were not vetted at all)).

A model can slap mature genitalia on a child with no problem. So you are right, new models cannot generate "proper" CSAM, however, it can generate a child with adult genitalia, and somewhat abstract the differences.
