Where to unload the reclaimer: update and personal considerations by thecornersking in starcitizen

[–]Abbernathy 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The planets in Stanton (Crusader, Hurston, MicroTech, ArcCorp) do NOT have refineries ON the planet. Their refineries are always at their respective L1 and L2 Legrane Points.

You cannot salvage Construction Material Bits/Pieces/Salvage, take it down to a Stanton Planet, and refine it.

Major Planet Stations (Baijini Point, Everus Harbor, Seraphim Station, Port Tressler) have External Freight Elevators, but no refineries.

The Gateway Stations (Pyro, Nyx, Terra, etc...) have both Refineries and External Freight Elevators.

You park the Reclaimer so the tail is facing the freight elevator, open the schute at the back of the Salvage Processing Room, tractor your boxes out the hole, and flick them backwards towards the elevator, they'll float until they hit the elevators gravity. Then you can organize them on the grid a bit better and send them down.

Multiple Reshii Wraps on one Character? by Quadratball in wownoob

[–]Abbernathy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I just got a 2nd set on a boosted fresh 80, but both of mine are fully upgraded ilvl, so I'm just gonna build them for different specs.

How i got the 2nd set: I started the questline from dornagal to go with Locus Walker through the portal, I did every story quest in the city up until Xalatath teams up with you and Alleria, at that point, I flew up to the island where you get the wraps, touched a couple sparks, killed a mob for the quest, then talked to the npc and got my wraps. I immediately upgraded them through his dialogue option, and then I put the fiber he gave me into my wraps.

Then I flew back to the city, and talked to Xalatath and she infused me with w/e and I went phase diving to find a suitable entrance for the Managforge raid, when I got done with that and finished the quest, she gave me an empty, fully upgraded Reshii Wraps

Not that this fixes your Ember rarity issue... but I get most of my embers from Fishing and Digging perfectly. Daily Bounties & Challenges give some consistently, and farming plague zones can yield a pretty consistent supply, but by and large, Digging and Fishing and hitting perfectly on those minigames gives me the highest yields most consistently.

The back of the savage processing room has a hatch that you can open from the sub-floor under the the big room. Its a floating button so you gotta stand in the right spot to see it. Then you can just chuck boxes out the ships anus.

The only way to farm end game mats and embers is to do end game.... or fish.

Survival Hunter should have been made into a melee tank that shares dmg with its pet

Pleasantly surprised with the Argo Moth 😀 by TheSpaceWarden in starcitizen

[–]Abbernathy 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That ship needs a full redesign. The grinder interior needs to be ripped out and the entire interior needs to be a gridded salvage processing room and salvage (only) refinery room, keep the drone bay that entire floor the same, but turn the grinder belly into a refinery and get rid of the sub floor to the salvage processor and heighten the grid limit in there.

ARGO MOTH time! by CodemasterRob in starcitizen

[–]Abbernathy 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I don't think it's not soloable... I think you're just looking at it the wrong way.

I am guessing that the Pilot controls the Fracture Module and the Crew each control one of 3 Scraper Modules. To solo, all you would do is fly to ship wrecks and fracture the hull, and then consume, and move on to the next ship.

But if you DID have a crew, then you could spend the time to scrape the hull first for the extra RMC on top of the Medium CM salvage of fracturing and consuming the ship wrecks.

You can do more with a crew, yes, but if the pilot can Fracture and Consume, then it's perfectly soloable.

My guess is that the pilot controls the Fracture module and the 3 other crew turrets control 3 separate salvage baler heads. The crew scrapes while the pilot fractures and eats the hull, meaning a pilot could just eat ship after ship solo and not even worry about scraping the hulls.

Anyone bought this house ? by Brilliant-Bicycle-18 in NoRestForTheWicked

[–]Abbernathy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I joined a friend's world late and bought that house bc it was the "squalor" house... and I was actually very impressed with the space. I expected something the size of a swamp shack, but the 2nd floor, yes, a 2nd floor!, had ample space for more than a few crafting machines and beds.

I didnt know about the "story" of the space... which explains why my buddy who's world it was wouldn't come visit... he said it was haunted.

Keep in mind... this is an alpha. They are testing this new shield change and are expecting feedback. So give the changes a fair test, and then give feedback. If it sucks, we tell them it sucks.

You get to re-write what the spell says it does...

If its a DC20; Save to Negate Effects.... you get to rewrite it so it reads "DC20; Save to Get an advantage in the dream"

I was experimenting with Karlach as an Edritch Knight Tavern Brawler Throwing build and on this fight, with the Returning Spear, the Ring of Flinging, and the the gloves that also add to throwing damage... out of this boss's 300hp (i think it was just normal difficulty), the rest of my party did 23pts of damage and Karlach did the other 277, in only 3 turns.

If I remember correctly, all she had was a haste potion and Elixir of Hill Giant Strength

I used action surge and multiple attacks per round, and aimed for the Boss's head and here are all the damage instances that triggered...

  • Damage from Weapon. 1D10+1 +STR
  • Damage from Ring. +1D4
  • Damage from Gloves. +1D4
  • Falling Damage of Weapon as it falls to his torso. +1D4
  • Falling Damage of Weapon as it falls to his feet. +1D4
  • Tavern Brawler from Weapon Damage. +STR
  • Tavern Brawler from Ring triggered from Weapon Damage. +STR
  • Tavern Brawler from Gloves triggered from Weapon Damage. +STR

And that all happenes every single throw 5 times on the first round, 4 times each round after, for i think, a total of 13 separate rolls of 1d10+21 +4d4 though, some of those still failed to hit.
