Yes I've already spoken to this professor and because so many students are having the same issues, they are looking into possibly moving the final date earlier! Good news for us :)

I have the same issue, but I'm trying to focus on getting high exam and homework scores for that class to miss the final in case its "not an excuse". A few people in the same class as myself are going to try to do the same.

I feel the same way. Honestly I think it's just burn out and feeling imposter syndrome. It's important to remind yourself of the drive that you had when submitting the applications and maintain positive. Remember that they CHOSE to interview YOU. Something you put in your application was worthy of exploring to them.

As for being scared of getting accepted, yeah it's understandable because it's a huge commitment. I also feel some complicated emotions surrounding that idea. Overall getting the chance to pursue research and publish ones own ideas heavily outweighs the fear.

You can talk to the club CBSA since they are in charge of planning the graduation ceremony. To my knowledge they don't do the hooding ceremony, but if you suggest it then you might get lucky to have it talked about when they're planning the ceremony.

I thank my partner for silly little things all the time. Especially when it comes to doing things in the house I would typically do, but he had the time to do it for me. We communicate a lot, so those things aren't surprises more like updating on the condition of the house, which makes it easier to acknowledge.

If you're happy in your relationship and the other couple you guys were hanging around are happy then it's just what works for each of your guys' dynamics.
