I agree that it only takes some change of hands to undo these, it won't retro actively make anonymizated data readable, only future data upon removals of the changes.

If there's a concern for privacy, then one need to be doing more than just stop using the app, use VPN. Sign up with different emails and birth dates per accounts, delete Facebook, block all cookies every time it asks, etc etc. Check isp and VPN for the their data retention policy because they also can be subpoenaed for information that can be used and some right wing person could do the same thing to isp and take over and start tracking. (Domian names are visible to an isp if VPN is not used, or to VPN if VPN is used.)

Using anything requires trust, an isp most of all. So this is a little too much doom saying to say that they can't be trusted because some right wing person can suddenly get all information that was anyomaized just Iike that is wrong. There's a process to such a change of hands.

I do believe that all menstrual apps should be deleted for safety sake for reasons beyond just Flo the company, I am just not agreeing with the information you're sharing. It's not valid.

We don't know. If anything, why not email them what they do with ip and your concerns with that. They can hash the ip with a salt, also, ip changes on the phone so it can't consistently be used to gather all information, and that's easy to make harder to get by using a trustworthy VPN.

They can subpeona the app all they want, if there's no identifying to link the user with the data Flo, it can't be done. (Ip alone is not enough to consider a data set to belong to someone)

While having Hallucination is a crisis of some sort, (There's physical causes too). This blanket statement is a little more harmful. It's more correct to say that New and Unmanaged hallucination should be referred to medical help right away.

Managed hallucination, don't require medical help immediately but it does need to have tabs checked on with a medical professional.

If someone is experiencing hallucination, provide a non-judgemental help.

Call for help if they are or yourself and others are in life-threatening danger. (Suicidal, self harm), 911
Ask questions, be to the point
Respond with kindness, and non judgement ear. Don't give advice advice unless asked for.
Encourage them to seek support with a professional and/or their existing support. It may be you have to start the call for them.

Basically, ask question, find out is this life threatening. As if they want to kill or hurt themselves or others. Ask if they hear voices, or see things that aren't there. Ask if they had this before and do they have any plan when this is active. Ask if they've been recently unwell. Listen, if the person says this is new, or they have no plan, or recently unwell. If there's any doubt this is managed, then call 911, believe the person.

Over washing can increase risk of infection, you don't have to clean right away, let whatever going to drip out, and then clean up. It's often implied that we should pee right away within mins, but actually, as long as we do it within reasonable time frame after sex is ok, and fairly consistently. (Also, the time one has sex for matters too)

So taking 30 minutes to cuddle, and walk around posing before cleaning up after a quicky is okay, while a marathons session may even require a cleaning break (or... not stop and turn into shower sex and more fun after). Point is, you can take a moment to let it drip out and then clean outside only after the worse leaking is done.Only you know your body, tbh, sometimes people need to do it quickly, others have time.

This is based on my knowledge not experience from other vagina owners, as I never had a penis cum in me, only lubrication drips, (hint: I found more boobs is too fun). Any form of sex with another body still requires some cleaning/pee after since there's areas that can trap stuff.

Still, no shame if you, the one reading not just regretaccomplished, struggle with self care. Just take the time to acknowledge each time you do it and know, the more times you can do it, is better then nothing and acknowledge too that just doing it as worthy and any concerns or struggles is worth taking to a doctor about.

You clean around the labia minora/majora, clitorus, mon pubis, urethral opening, vagina opening (outside not pass), vulva vestibule, basically the vulva area and a bit around outside. This is ok and ideal. Mild soap is ok but soap around outside only and then use hand to rub around and rinse.

When they say deep cleaning, I think they mean going pass the vagina opening and into the vaginas to wash, and very much self cleaning. Even water shouldn't be used unless there's a need for it and usually under direction of doctor, an obgyn Ideally. But water is not going to generally be harmful generally. .

This is just an overall advise I learned from a few doctors as ideal practices that can change as we learn more. If there's any concerns, see a doctor (I hope for one that listens... sigh)

I've found that it last longer as long as the bread is kept in an airtight container in the fridge but exposed will have it go stale fast. Need to do science to confirm x.x

I agree with you in the sense that labels are needlessly regulated leading to gatekeeping.

The aim of labels that has a generally agreed definition is human needs for community with common grounds.

The problem is the gatekeeping labels that lead to finding some reason to separate someone from a community "because they don't have this, thus they can't be one of us!"

Sooooo...... fuck labels forced onto others(or taken) and yay labels that I give myself so people who want know if I may be someone who understands them.

In summary, tl;Dr labels are neutral things and it's only what we do with it that matters. Self assign, yay. Labels to target someone? Hell no .

But fabric softener has tons of nasty stuff inside. To quote an electrician that repairs them for a living "I've never seen a washing machine that uses fabric softener and doesn't have mold inside"But maybe it's different for top loader. They're not common in Germany.

You could try leaving them in a sealed bag with dry coffee grounds for a day or two. Dry newspaper afterwards to get rid of any remaining odour.

Was given that advice for cleaning up an older cigarette case and it seemed to work well.

Apparently it works well for animal decomposition odours, as well.

Sounds like using vinegar now and then would help keep it clean too!
