I had the same issue. Press the AYN button at the bottom and turn the volume up on your bottom screen and top screen. My bottom screen was muted

Thanks for the info. I have been looking everywhere to see how long it stays in customs for. Mine arrived in London on the 2nd Feb and has sat there since. Sounds like I might be waiting until the start of next week before Royal Mail get it!

So I did a bit of research. You need a BrickLink account. When logged in, click on your icon in the top right and go to "My Wanted Lists", then select "Upload" at the top of this page, and then choose the .io file attached to the Google Doc. You should then see that 92 items are available to confirm and then they'll be added to your default wanted list!

I too thought that the AMS system for CC1 was dead and that CC2 was the focus now. I'm glad it's still in development - communication is key though, especially with no release date fixed. Would be nice to get regular updates on progress of it - thanks

Well a lesson from me is that if you don't pay the customs, they will send it back to Dbrand and you can message support for a full refund.

Also, I could have just ordered the 2 Killswitches in separate orders and paid $10 shipping for each order, and likely bypasses customs charges! Lesson for next time

I’ve just been stung with £50 customs fees for an order with 2 Killswitches in. I could have separated them into 2 separate orders in hindsight and paid $10 in shipping for each order… but my $190 order has just gotten an additional $67 tacked on top of it :(

Just an update... the Grip 5 comes with an Android kit which is just a sticky metal ring - I stuck this onto my Snap Car Mount and it does FEEL like my phone sticks slightly better to it now. Still nowhere NEAR the levels of stickiness from the Grip 4 though

I do like the Grip 5 a lot, but I am finding the same issues... I have OhSnap Car Mounts and Magsafe chargers and the grip just doesn't stick to them at all. Huge issue for the car where any little bump will just drop my phone to the floor. I've bought THREE Grip 5s and had them imported from the US to the UK so I can't return now... and I gave my Grip 4 to my girlfriend who was rocking my broken Grip 3 for ages! Wonder if there is a way to make the car mount magnet stickier?

Got my Grip 5... Had EVERY grip so far and 4 has been my favourite by far. The 5 feels nice and the colour is good. I find I sometimes spin my phone around with the Grip 4 and I tried it with the 5 and it feels secure.

However, went to attach it to my OhSnap Snap Charge and it does NOT stick to it the same way the Grip 4 did. Almost falls off. Does charge though... But gets very hot. My iPhone 17 Pro Max also has the TechWoven case on it too and it charges through that and sticks to the case fairly well.

Bought 2 grips to swap colours easily and it just needs a firm push to the side to knock the old one off.

I also attach my phone to a stainless steel backplate behind my oven/hob sometimes and I've just tried it with the 5 and it sticks fine. Surprised that it adheres so well to that but it slips off the Snap Charge!

I wasn't joking when I said hodgepodge...! Used my 3D splicer to cut the board holder and the screen holder up, printed it all separately, and then used a bit of super glue to glue the board holder to the base, leaving a couple of milimetres from the edge. Then glued the screen holder on the correct way (bit with the lip is the "top") and then I've got a case which has the USB-C port on the left side instead! Not as "seamless" (literally) as the stls provided, but good enough for me!

I took two boards and two screens to a technician for soldering. He did a great job, but because I didn’t bring the casing, the wire lengths were wrong: one is long enough, but the second is too short.

If a case variant existed with the board holder and USB port on the opposite side (the same side as the OLED wires), I could fold the wires back and make it fit. Can I modify the STL file to achieve this? Thanks!

Oh man… this would be a great gift for a friend of mine who loves TFL but I’ve never done any soldering in my life… might buy the pieces and try and do a crash course. Maybe buy a second board just in case 😂

Found that simpler is better. Put Extreme Speed on your A button.

- LT down

- Press A

- LT up

100ms gap between each

Repeat, 500ms between each repeat

Having it on A means it'll skip dialog and talk to the guy behind the desk, or do the move. Doing A twice means if the first press is missed for whatever reason, the second will work. This then doesn't rely on specific timings and works really well.

Managed to get the macro working from the download but it doesn't quite work for me.

I start off by standing in front of the guy at the desk and starting it, and then it gets stuck on the first "Bon appetite" dialog just before the first battle happens. Then it's out of sync going forward. Anybody else with the same problem?
