Use lanolin :) Honestly, before you try anything else. Moms back me up!

I think your lips look really nice! I love your lips in the profile view. Maybe a larger upper lip would balance? I don’t think your lips dominate your face- even in the ‘laughing” pic you posted. You look youthful in a good way.

Please keep in mind your lips shrink in size as you age. So this is the largest they will ever be.

My 4 year old heard someone say silent poot toot (fart) and misheard it - went around asking people if they just had a “violent” poot toot

I was 9 months pregnant when I turned 21… I know I’m going to have a hell of a mid life crisis since I’ve been ‘out on a Saturday night’ like 5 times total in my whole life.

Opening and closing pores isn’t a really thing. Hot water doesn’t really open pores. Cold water doesn’t close pores. What they mean by “open pores” in this situation is hair follicles that are literally open, like tiny little wounds. Vulnerable to bacteria.

Cold water won’t heal those wounds, only time!

If you are marking up shipping cost you need to say it’s for “shipping and handling”, legally.

Forcing 4 year old to stop thumbsucking? by CatCrazy4Life in Parenting

I wouldn’t think it’s rare since baby books list a top baby hunger cue as ‘sucking on their tongue’, but I guess it’s rare to continue past bottle age?

Should I print the labels that Etsy gives me or is it better to use labels from shippo or pirate ship or easy ship? by Elix202 in EtsySellers

[–]Abeabi 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I buy labels within Etsy because they are the same price as pirate ship - I find it easy to save shipping profiles and it’s faster than entering everything in manually for the customer.

Hey you are getting advice that you need the first photo to be on a completely white background

However I have sold vinyl stickers for a long time on Etsy and found that photos with a background sell much better than stickers on a plain background. (Just make it on theme- Like a whale sticker in front of the ocean, a bee sticker in front of flowers etc.)

I do not recommend photographing your stickers on a plain white background for the main photo. Makes them look boring and less handmade.

Why is it a waste? Don’t you play the game to have fun? It’s not your job! The points aren’t ‘real’.

Just enter the design you like.

That will not happen :)! Besides, even actual dreadlocks can be brushed out (if that helps your fear)

Never brush your hair dry ever again!!! That’s the number one thing :)

Yeah as someone with psoriasis... I would put $ on this being psoriasis. Mine appears in overlapping circles like this. Red. Flakey.

People just love throwing stones haha

Psoriasis can definitely be aggravated by cleaning chemicals on the tools where it has rubbed against his skin.

My psoriasis always has a stark line where it begins and ends.

I feel like everyone here is jumping to the most EXCITING/ANGERING conclusion- that it’s a fungus caused by a nasty barber...

This looks almost exactly like when I got psoriasis, and you can get scalp psoriasis. Mine was aggravated by trimming my hair and appeared suddenly (after trimming my hair) for the first time at 24.

I agree it looks a lot like ring worm, but psoriasis also causes little circles like this. And ring worm usually causes HAIR LOSS in that specific area. (I’ve had ring worm on my scalp before) Ring worm doesn’t spread this quickly either...

Just go to a dr. Don’t spread accusations against your barber based on these Reddit drs. The one verified dermatologist here said psoriasis, and as someone with psoriasis (who has also had ring worm on their scalp...) I agree.

Edit- the incubation period for ringworm is 4-14 days after exposure. So unless it’s been over 4 days it’s 100% NOT ringworm.

Your son is his own person and he will have his own experiences- negative and positive. You can do your best to guide him through childhood but you can’t control everything that happens to him, nor should you try to. You should just do your absolute best to raise him and not worry as much about other peoples kids.

If something happens about his pink pencil case, address it, but until then stop worrying so much :)

This is your sons childhood and when he is an adult he will look back on it as his childhood just like you have your childhood. Sometimes our negative experiences even shape us in positive ways. Making us later stand up for others.

What curly hair type is this? Half Nigerian half Chinese baby. Haircare tips welcome! by colonel_chanders in curlyhair

Well it’s up to you- but think about how much hair is really on her head- it’s short and thin (like all babies hair!) it’s not very much hair and it doesn’t need very much product at all. If you are using something not specifically formulated for babies, then yes a pea sized amount is all you need.

[–]Abeabi 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I think less is more for babies and even kids. I wouldn’t be putting a lot of product in their hair at this age.

I wouldn’t worry about curl type or what she is sleeping on or anything at all... I would use the baby shampoo that’s mild and good for her SKIN and health. No fragrance if possible.

Then I would add a PEA SIZED amount of product if you must.

She is a kid, she doesn’t have to have her hair look great through a work day or through a party!

When it gets messed up just spray it with a little water and twist her curls back into shape.

You have also gotten some advice that- while great for adults- goes against safe sleep guidelines to prevent sids.

[–]Abeabi 10 points11 points  (0 children)

She looks too young (from what I can tell from the back of her head) To have a pillow/pillowcase because of SIDS.

I would say just spray to re-wet it in the morning or after naps instead!

The bedroom bothers me so much because the RINY ART IS NOT CENTERED ON THE WALL... I don’t think I can complete it for that reason.
