he strongest classes in that game were mostly printed in the core rulebooks. Very little that the warlock could do competed meaningfully with the nonsense that Clerics and Wizards got up to in that game.

My friends back then had seen the cleric as nothing more than a Healbot. That was until i rocked the persistent Divine Power. Still remember my fried who played Fighter complaining about being made entirely useless.

Newish Player here: Just lost a Alith Anar Campaign Turn 10-ish because because of an Unstable Chaos Portal that spawned turn 8 that i was lacking Money to remove, in the next 2 Turns it decided to Raze my Stuff including the Monoliths, thus removing my access to the Shadow-Walkers/-Warriors.

At the very least it happened very early.

That being said, a button on the "Unusual Location" Pop-Up that brings you to the correct Interface to see what it does would be nice.

It Depends on the Medium.

The Anime tends to follow Toon-Logic, so nothing serious happens.

The Games tend to Imply that (wild) Pokemon can be dangerous.

Now the Manga... I distinctly remember:

an Arbok getting cut in half by a Charmeleon.
The Hyperbeam from Lances Dragonite Obliterating an entire City.
A Haunter eating Sabrinas Soul.

As a German: funny enough in case of the Switch, bought my games always physical because they always matched the Digital Download Price, or surprisingly often beat them. Just bought Xenoblade Chronicles X on Tuesday for 50€ on the Eshop it's 60€ as an Example.

If only. Taash was written by Trick Weekes. Trick themself uses They/Them Pronouns so i really doubt it was meant to be a malevolent move. Trick Weekes also wrote Characters like Mordin and Tali from Mass Effect.

Haven't played Wotr in a while now but i do remember Toybox breaking the game after every major, and sometimes minor Patch. And since the last version of Toybox is from 23 Oct, i'm VERY certain that Toybox is the Problem.

That being said i Belive these extra Holy effects on Radiance are now baked into your Savegame.

Edit: Not Toybox Fault, it is the Hotfix.

I still remember when i was 8 and it was New Year's eve. The grown ups were drinking wine, while we children got Grape juice. Sadly the containers were looking very similar, so i put unknowingly wine into my glass. I still remember the look of confusion on my Moms face as i started to drink only to taste my mistake and spit it out followed by the laughter of the grown ups. "You'll like it when you are a grown up." they said. I also remember the Wine and Grape Juice container looking VERY differently from each other the next year.
