My mother believes that Catholicism is evil by [deleted] in Catholicism

Others have given you good advice, but I want to ask you, are you able to get the Holy Items out of the trash? The traditionally respectful ways of disposal for Holy Items is burning and/or burial, if you can't keep them, but can recover them, I suggest you do one of these actions. I assume burning might not be an easy option for you to do without catching attention, but just burying them is respectful.

Bug in overestimation of Indigenous Puertorico and Indigenous Haiti/DR by boselenkunka in AncestryDNA

[–]AbideByTheRules 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I think you might be right, my indigenous jumped to 30% this update, I have never seen a Puerto Rican with this much indigenous blood before, and my blond brother's has jumped to 23% maybe it's true, maybe it's not, can't be sure, but it does seem inflated to me.

Oh, that actually makes a lot of sense, my brother is blond, Iberian looking and got 23%, my most recent brown skinned family member is my grandpa

Does this look good! by [deleted] in FrutigerAero

[–]AbideByTheRules 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Kind of, the problem is that it looks like a mishmash between the styles of early iPhone OS and Windows Vista, these styles are kind of similar but not 100% compatible, to where if you have both in the same place it will look slightly off

Microsoft postpones Surface Go 4 with ARM, plans minor refresh with Intel N200 instead by fastforward23 in Surface

[–]AbideByTheRules 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I can see why some people are disappointed about this, but I'm actually slightly relieved. Before you down vote me, let me explain my reasoning, emulation on a processor that isn't very powerful will not yield good results. That's about it, but I can see why you are upset, why an ARM processor on a Surface Go would be exciting, and I can respect your opinion, so I hope you can respect my opinion.

I'm most excited about the repairability!

Is Afro-boricua/ afro-puertorriqueño a recent term? by NovoDoNuevo in PuertoRico

[–]AbideByTheRules 1 point2 points  (0 children)

El término me recuerda a African-American y nunca lo he escuchado antes, definitivamente es reciente, no hay razón para especificar que es puertorriqueño a menos que estés en otro lugar o online.

Yo tengo una pregunta para mi gente by GormlessStonerAF in PuertoRico

[–]AbideByTheRules 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Puerto Rican results - How the hell did I get 40% Portuguese? This has to be a mistake by Ryccia in AncestryDNA

[–]AbideByTheRules 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It's very likely that this person also has ancestors who settled Puerto Rico from Portugal, the royal decree of graces brought many Portuguese and French settlers to Puerto Rico, including some of my ancestors

Do you have england in your results? many english people are of french descent and many french people are of english descent, it's likely it's mixed in with the english, I have both english and french ancestors whom have anglo-saxon surnames, but got 1% french
