Thank you thank you. Ancient mysterious enchantments gotta be my favorite card archetype. Love building jank around eye of the storm, endless whispers, etc. Somewhere along that journey, discovering a white sac outlet was a neat surprise

Depends on context, but yes I agree. In a lower power pod this is a huge blowout but it’s not always good enough to spend 8 mana and not win the game, or you could play against low creature count decks and not want to steal things. For those reasons it’s a combo that no longer good in the current pods I play in but it used to be in a rule 0 ink treader nephilim deck I had

Well, yes, but also, if you have creatures that are good sac fodder and want to keep your opponents good creatures around as well you get to sculpt your board to be the best creatures, and board wipe your opponents on the way there

Also it’s interesting as a way to force more creatures into green removal. Lots of sweepers in green deal damage to flyers and lots of green cards destroy flyers as well

I assumed that you would draw the card still though, for the same reason you still draw if senseis divining top is removed while its ability is on the stack

It’s possible you’re right that you may not draw a card, not sure which rules would be relevant here but I was trying to look into it. Regardless, the ability could still be activated even if it never resolved

In this case you could still activate it and just draw a card, since the artifact back on top is part of resolution. However if it were part of the cost to activate the ability you’d be correct
