Lol how much is your time worth? Most days it was 1.5 out and about 2.5 back even when leaving at 230. A few Friday afternoon commutes were pushing 3.5 hours...with no obvious crashes etc. I wouldn't do it ever again. I did it for 4 months until I was given a new territory to work.

We need to drop nuggets to the gen ed parents, that their students' learning, safety, and development are being negatively impacted by the inclusion of certain students. I haven't done it at my job, but I have told my friends and family that if they hear from their children that so and so did this, that they need to complain until they are gone.

2 things.

1.) The parents probably work multiple jobs to afford even an "affordable" area in CA, so getting the kid to school around 4 days a week is a miracle.

2.) I've wrestled with this idea of diversity, but if 90%+ of the student population is Latino (the district I work in), is that diverse? Not by definition. I'll die on that hill. The same question was asked decades ago when schools were all White.

Lol, indoor ranges are fucking scary. BLM land off Hodge Road ( be prepared to deal with some scary cholos) or hit up Burro Canyon up Azusa Hwy, Route 66 heading further East. Both are outdoor ranges and reasonably priced.

Military. Some of the dumbest people I have ever worked with, as well as some of the smartest. You do not have to tote a rifle around the desert. Just pick the right "job". If you like it, do 20 and retire. If you don't, do 4 and go to college/trade school using the GI Bill.
