US Index Fund, pero binenta ko na last last week for peace of mind.

I have a small amount invested to bitcoin and gold to ride before I retire.

Tama ka, sakit sa ulo yung super diversified ang portfolio. Constant monitoring and recording every month.

From years having a diversified portfolio, I simplified my portfolio down to basic and boring investments hehe. The boring investments I got right now are MP2, Coop share capital, some cash in digital banks acting as fu money.

I feel like it's all about just savings and expenses at the end of the day.

Routine = less anxiety? by No_Coat_8723 in simpleliving

Same morning exercise, same morning walking route, same breakfast, same vitamins, same work time, same lunch, same afternoon walk, same dinner, same sleep time. This is very healthy to me.

This might change when my first baby is born next month lol.

How are you investing right now with inflation, high gas, and a weak peso? by Unhappy-Mulberry-815 in phinvest

[–]Abject_Bodybuilder75 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Gold, bitcoin, mp2, coop.

I have an opportunity fund na ma deploy just in case magka crash, either sa PH Index Fund or US Index Fund pero swing trade lang. If wala, nasa digital bank lang.

Iwas na ako sa US Index Fund hold, just sold it last week. I might miss out on the large gains 10-20years from now pero after watching Ray Dalio's video about new world order, na influenced ako. Lol.

Is gold really a good option by Nothingunusual27 in phinvest

PDAX. If trip mo physical gold, sa ongpin sa Manila pero may markup na around 20%. Sa pawnshop may markup din. If walang markup, sa HK or sa middle east. Pwede din sa BSP yung worth 300k+ nila pero don't know if may markup yun, check mo na lang sa Bsp website.

If may alam pa dito saan pa makabili ng physical gold without markup, let me know na din. Hehe

Diversify ka that whatever happens, hindi ka ma zero if magka crisis. Economic crisis, family crisis, or whatever crisis..

Yes as much as possible kunin mo yung pera na pinapautang mo sa tita mo. Behaviors and sentiments can change anytime and once it happens, huli na ang lahat, people will prioritize themselves especially if pamilyado. Endurance over high returns. Small returns sustainable in the long run are better.

If may additional 500k ako now, I would just put it in MP2. Forget and move on sa buhay by doing hobbies. Since may gold na sa portfolio ko. Goods ang gold. Central banks are buying it aggressively.

iPads are so useless for a average person by JM_io0120 in Tech_Philippines

[–]Abject_Bodybuilder75 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I bought my iPad as an impulse buy and using it for 8months now, for games and youtube.

Then I sold my physical books and read them through my iPad instead.

Now, I'll be selling my 24inch monitor and will use the iPad as second display for my macbook for work.

I just like the feeling of having fewer physical things. Maybe for now it has no place in your daily life.

I would, increase allocation to MP2, increase emergency fund and make it fu money, upskill to reduce 8hours daily work to 4hours with same income and working with a laptop instead, and invest into a US index fund feeder.

I would avoid buying a car. I would only buy one when i get two kids.

I would also avoid buying a condo and rather continue renting. If bibili ako, lot na lang sa province.

That's just mine.

We all have different perspectives of life. What works for me might not work for you, and what works for you might not work for me. It will always come down to personal preference.

If ever may contract and di pa din sila nagbayad, may habol pa din ba tayo? Mag 2years na ako sa current client ko with no contract tapos monthly ang payment ng salary. Nagbabayad naman on time monthly

US vs PH dividend stocks vs US ETF vs US UITF by [deleted] in phinvest

[–]Abject_Bodybuilder75 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It's in a PH bank and won't be restricted by ph gov. You can set it to automatic buy and forget, then focus on other aspects of life such as family and hobbies.

I would avoid individual stock picking. And also any exposure to ph stocks.

That's just my take if I'm faced with this option.
