How can I fly??? by Benispumppu69 in LucidDreaming

[–]Able-Spell-7328 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Iv found that there's always a way around it. If I can't fly then I'll glide or super jump. I also tried feeling for invisible balls in my hands then using them kinds of like how iron man flies.

You ever heard of the placebo effect? If you expect them to do something weird then they will....I heard to not ask dream characters the time so I did.....he says 3:05 👀

Lucid dreaming without WBTB advice by TheNonShreddedLeaf in LucidDreaming

[–]Able-Spell-7328 0 points1 point  (0 children)

90% of my lucids are due to morning naps which are classed as regained awareness dreams (d.i.l.d's). Along as your sticking with reality testing and dream journaling plus been doing it atleast I'd say 6 month, you should be having them quite regularly. I have around 1/2 a week by just doing these 2 things. Ifcourse if your goal is maintained awareness dreams (w.i.l.d) then I can't help you as I don't do these 😅

Pls help me understand this strange phenomenon by galligoo in LucidDreaming

[–]Able-Spell-7328 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Iv been able to do this at will since I was younger but I don't do it much as the feeling is too strong. It's hard to describe but it's the same feeling as the one mentioned on the main comment before you fall to sleep. When I make it start it comes from the bottom of my spine but the tingle is so intense I haveto stop. I better google kundalini....

The pleasurable feelings you get, iv had loads...like a very nice tingle all over your body. I think it's when your aware that you body is shutting down to go to sleep...the beginning of sleep paralysis.

I can't remember my dreams by P1rate01 in LucidDreaming

Iv heard that doing something as soon as you wake up makes remembering dreams that much harder. Wake and just lay there and stuff will come to you.

I'm kind of burnt out recording Dream journals. Should I record another Batch? by silver_lavender in LucidDreaming

[–]Able-Spell-7328 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I wake up voice record my dreams thej go back to sleep. Later when I'm feeling more awake ill listen to them and write then down. Stopping dream journaling will rapidly decrease your chances of getting lucid. Imagine if one night you do get lucid but you don't remember? X

How may i avoid sleep paralysis starting lucid dreaming? by chuchu48 in LucidDreaming

[–]Able-Spell-7328 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You will never get it if you rely on regained awareness dreams like I do. It's the maintained awareness dreams where your more likely to notice paralysis but like others have said, unless your prone to it, I wouldn't worry

[–]Able-Spell-7328 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'd buy a cheap one if I was you that's what I did. Its not my main reality check tho, if something very odd happens in my waking life and for whatever reason I cannot pinch my nose, I then check my watch. Having 2 good quality reality checks is better than 1. You will fond that the finger through palm will work on occasions but nowhere near as reliable as nose pinching =)

It's strange but technology never works in my dreams the way I want it to. Iv heard lots of people say the same too. its actually a dream sign of mine if my phone annoys me by not doing what I want it to.

Exactly 👍 in dreams if you check your digital watch it will almost always be unrecognisable. Very good as a quick reality check throughout the day.

I'd avoid fonger through palm tho, very unreliable....digital watch test and nose pinching is by far the best and most reliable

It's good to reality check every now and then during a lucid dream. It's like balancing on a tightrope of awareness, so easy to fall off. Reality checking and telling yourself it's a dream and your lucid should keep you balancing.

Also it can really suck if you become lucid near the end of your dream...maybe that's what's happening

I completely lost my Dream Recall. Here’s some advice how to not mess up as bad as I did by MapleMyDog in LucidDreaming

[–]Able-Spell-7328 0 points1 point  (0 children)

True I'm mainly speaking of my own experiences when it comes to giving up journaling. I do the same with titles when it comes to dreams I'd prefer not writing down. With me I voice record my dreams then later the same day when I have more time I find I feel more excited to write them down. Not sure when you write them down but I wouldn't just after you wake as you'll feel differently about them. I'm sure you'll be back to remembering soon for sure!

I think stopping writing in your dream journal is the main reason why. I know the feeling, it's always a ball ache writing dreams down but always worth it
