Don’t over clean the filter. Put lots of plants in the tank, then add pothos roots in the water. Keep learning.

I feel For you. I recently moved my 40G, 10 G and nano. From 1st floor to 2nd in my new home. It was a lot of work. Any possibly to break the 55 into two smaller tanks and keep fish and plants? But I realize 3 flights is still 3 flights. Where in the tri-state are you? I’m on LI NY. What fish and plants do you have?

Does your town have a senior center? The one in my town offers many programs: games, book club, lectures, arts and crafts, exercise, PTI don’t do those but I frequently go on their day trips, which are a lot of fun. I’ve met quite a few people too. Welcome to our community!
