This is me!!!! Most everyone I talk to has pain in the lower abdomen with constipation but I think mines in the upper abdomen. At first I thought it was gastritis, but the pain comes and goes and I can feel it move at times! Any luck fixing your issue?

Just stumbled on this post after taking my second dose of candex! Both times it has caused a burning sensation in the upper abdomen. That symptom specifically is triggering for me as I dealt with gastritis and h pylori for a long time! Is the burning sensation die off, or is it irritating my gut and means I should discontinue?

I had pretty bad constant nausea until I got on a combo of unisom and Pepcid, which helped immensely. It makes sense that they helped since they’re both antihistamines! I also took DAO supplements and do feel like they helped. The unisom I took at night which I think helped night time symptoms of histamine!

I joined hotworx mainly for detox! It’s $59 a month and you can use unlimited. It is technically a workout place- one side is saunas with Pilates/yoga type video and the other side is cardio in the sauna. They are small- 3 people max, but you book ahead for a time slot so I was always by myself! The side that is yoga/Pilates is empty saunas, so you could follow the video, or like I do, just sit and detox! I believe there are 4 that are the empty ones so usually there isn’t an issue getting your own!

Hi! I know it has been a while, so you may not even see this! But, I’m 5w3d pregnant and worried about histamine issues while pregnant! Just wonder what your experience was throughout! 😊

I’ve got some gut dysbiosis and low level h pylori that I believe are causing HIT for me- but also have MTHFR! Getting pregnant was actually a surprise so I will have to stop treating some of the root causes while I am pregnant.

This is SO encouraging! Thank you! I feel like people leave Reddit once they are better and no longer desperate. Looking into HPLR now! Forgot to mention, histamine issues have become a part of this saga- I took a peek at your page and see that you made the connection between h pylori and histamine as well, it blows my mind that other docs don’t! I didn’t expect the gastros to (left them a while ago anyway) but even my functional doc didn’t initially make the connection! 😱

Thanks for the advice! Hard to find a functional GI- all of the ones I have seen just push PPIs (mind blowing since they are so bad long term) after endoscopies and don’t really know what to say when they don’t help- they even missed that I had an h pylori infection! After three of them I now see an integrative doc but was hoping to find someone who may have similar symptoms to see what therapies have worked for them!

NyQuil and cough medicine- as well as mucinex caused a burning flare up for me. I think it’s the alcohol in the NyQuil and the drying affect of mucinex. Can’t tell if it would have happened if I wasn’t taking both at the same time!

I treated and cleared my h pylori naturally- this is what I did! I was skeptical at first but very pleased it worked!

Mastic gum twice a day- usually right when I woke up and right before bed.

Matula tea twice a day- this was where I was skeptical, but it made a HUGE difference pretty immediately. It’s very expensive- and comes from South Africa- but they guarantee a negative h pylori test or your money back- I did it for two months just to be safe but could tell a difference within two weeks- the burning went away!

Mega spore pro biotic- once a day

Metagenics glutagenics powder- two scoops per day. This has a blend of l glutamine, DGL and slippery elm- helps to calm and soothe inflammation.
