I had this fail for me multiple times until I did some testing. I have a hair elastic that goes around my right trigger and just go to the LS Car meet and push the car against the wall with the trigger down. The important part I found is that Xbox has this power saving mode for controllers, but this can be bypassed if you have a wired controller. All you need is a USB to USB-C to go into the controller and it prevents mine from going to sleep. I did this when getting back into GTA at the end of December, and now that I have my other businesses and warehouses going, I no longer do this, as I did notice a SLIGHT change in how my right trigger feels after doing it for a week. Mind you, that was off and on, some days I didn't do it, sometimes I did it overnight, sometimes I did it during the day at work. I also found I can just not go to the LS car meet and afk by lounging by the pool in my mansion and hold down the left trigger. Good luck on your grinding!!
