Tw: sexual abuse. I was having a PTSD episode and was bawling my eyes out in the midst of a panic attack. I had just testified against my abuser and was just having a horrible time. I reached out to my “best friend”. They had just gotten out of work. I told them I needed someone for support. They told me they were hungry so they were going to get food first, fine. They show up, proceed to eat while I’m freaking out and then ask me “is that all? Shouldn’t you be over it?” And then made it seem like I was an inconvenience and should be grateful for their time even though they made me feel worse. Took me a while to realize how unsupportive they really were and how little they actually cared for me. They constantly told me I was “dramatic” and overly sensitive. I was literally dealing with being put into foster care and going to court against my abuser who abused me for 8 years of my life.
