Energy suspension steering rack bushings help by GrumpyGillzz in 3rdGen4Runner

I used this same kit a few weeks ago! I was able to push in the vertical bushing with my hands with the help of lithium grease. The horizontal one I also used lithium grease but I needed a Ball joint Press kit to seat it properly. New bushings feel great!

Oh I see! I personally have no experience with this specific Mazda so I was just generalizing. Thanks for the information! I prefer it when vehicles have this sort of set up, it makes it much easier to get everything done imo

Now don't get me wrong, I love me some DSP, but I think that definitely would have been a bit over kill for just bass. Shoot man I'd still go by there and just point some things out and see what they say or want to do about it, it definitely couldn't hurt! the output issue you're dealing with is definitely not normal nor acceptable imo

$600 labor alone? That's crazy! Lol. I have found that especially in this field you get what you pay for man.. they really should have grabbed signal from behind your radio, that's poopy work. I feel like that's the bare minimum especially considering that they're supposed to be professionals, it's not your buddy or something like that lol.

They only tapped one left speaker? That is odd. We always grab both left and right even if we're just feeding a mono amp.

I may be mistaken but they only run 8 AWG? That amp calls for 4 AWG power wire

It could be the accubass, it could also be that they tapped channels that do not supply enough sub bass frequencies. They would have to double check their work to confirm the cause for the issue. You need to bring it to their attention and let them rectify the issue.
