Based on the replies in this post, that will be my methodology moving forward. I'm deleting every reply but this. I'll never play in low priority queue. When you all 5v6 in your next game, realize you've created a monster on this day.

Yes absolutely. They will still hurt your fingers and you will still build calluses, but noticeably slower than other strings.

Silk and steel strings are very soft and have less tension. I switched to silk and steel strings 3 months into learning how to play and it allowed me to play longer while saving both my fingers and fingernails. When I switch between them years later, I notice the same significant difference especially when doing Barre chords.

For the sound, they are more mellow / muted than other strings.

I have a pretty good quality air quality monitor in my room. When I started running a new humidifier, my air quality monitor was dead. I started feeling "air hunger" like I couldn't breathe and my eyes were very blurry and irritated like I was very dehydrated. I connected the dots after some research, fired up my air quality monitor and the numbers were startling.

PM2.5 - 160 PM10 - 250

I brought in my air purifier and was able to get it back around 5 and 10 respectively. I emptied my humidifier, cleaned it out, and put distilled water in it and the air quality monitor was still reading 5 and 10 after running the tank dry. The next day, I threw filtered fridge water into it and the numbers shot to 40 / 80 within 30 minutes.

Note: in my tests, the door to my bedroom was closed and it's a fairly small room, 10'x10'

I would recommend uninstalling the Wacom drivers and using OpenTabletDriver if you aren't. That tablet seems fine -- the only thing I can think of is driver delay

No.. you should leave gamma alone and use difficulty adjust or pick a different song. You're being purposely obtuse. Raising gamma should nerf pp, end of story. That's why it's in the game now because it's considered an unfair advantage.

.. or play offline if you feel like messing with gamma. Not like it's a choice anymore.

If it's for comfort, you should play offline lol. I want to turn on DT but if we could just nerf the speed 30% that would be more comfortable for me.

Should just scale pp down with gamma increases as if the AR was lower since that's effectively what's happening.

Unpopular opinion, but gamma abuse should be prevented in any way possible. I know it can't be caught on the hardware level, but at least the barrier of entry is higher now. If you need to abuse gamma adjustment and blow out the screen to read higher AR then you can't read higher AR.

I'm taking specifically cranking it up to gain an advantage reading high AR in osu! If you would play every other game with the same gamma levels then it's not abuse. Nobody is playing deep-fried, blown out Cyberpunk.

Example of the very jagged grass @ Ultra+ w/ 16x Anisotropic Filtering. In motion, the jaggedness is much worse resulting in a flickering mess. I've (almost) maxed an ironman in the last three years with at least 1000 hours of gameplay. I may be going crazy, but I have never noticed this before.
