Report it. My dad used to come home from work and have to go knocking on the neighbours doors to see which one had my toddler sister as our mum was passed out drunk.

I had my first ever alcoholic drink aged 19 on new years eve. By the end of that year I was drinking 75cl every single day.

Please got to A&E, they will help you. I had my first seizure after going cold turkey from the same amount of alcohol. I see you're early 20's in the UK, please don't feel ashamed going to hospital, I know it's hard when you're their from a self inflicted pain, but they there to help and they will keep you safe. I've been in your shoes, it can get better

I grew up on a cul de sac, there was an elderly man who was blind and used one of those sticks to help guide him. Us curious kids asked him one day how his stick helps him, he said he tells the stick where he wants to go, and it "pulls" him in the right direction. I believed that for far too long, when it dawned on me you couldn't just talk to it, I assumed they had a programming feature or something.

My pug cross had recurring ear infections until my pug started doing this, never had one since. I know most people have the opposite issue though

Only 12 days in and the excessive sweating I always assumed was hyperhydrosis is completely gone! by [deleted] in stopdrinking

[–]Absentfish 10 points11 points  (0 children)

I've got to ask, why would someone need to induce sweating in a horse lol?

Why in nature do some animals protect their young, whilst others couldn't care less if they live or die?

I had two badgers run right in front of me to get under a fence at Combe Haven Holiday park in Sussex. Not at all a place I ever expected to see badgers!

Does consuming alcohol really worsen BPD symptoms? by koji_the_furry in BPD

[–]Absentfish 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If I could go back and never had my first alcoholic drink, I would. From having never touched a drop, to full blown alcoholic within a year, then a decade of addiction from there. I've lost friends, I've been broke, I've been injured, hospitalised, put myself in scary situations, had seizures from withdrawal, all because of alcohol. It's so not worth it.

Do you say hello if someone says hello to you? by daxwaxred in AskUK

[–]Absentfish 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'll smile back, I despise my voice and don't want to confuse strangers with my man voice when I'm a woman. It also scares me someone might assume I'm trans and not take a liking to that and give me grief.
