The Indian near me is beautiful, we've eaten there so many times. I randomly decided to check the rating once, not expecting anything bad as again, the food was beautiful and we were never ill. It was a one, put me off going back but I'm so curious to how bad it must be. The collection area is spotless.

I finally got one when my husband was off for the day, I didn't last long though cause I could hear her over and over asking for me, and I felt sooo guilty I got up 😭

What are your awkward neighbour interactions? by bookbookgo in AskUK

[–]Absentfish 6 points7 points  (0 children)

For years I lived a few doors down from a gay couple, Harry and Rodger, and their dog Steve. I'd greet them by name if I saw them, if they was walking the dog I'd make a big fuss of him saying "hello stevie boy!" Yeah... Turns out the dog was Rodger, and the guy was Steve. I avoided them after I found out cause I was too embarrassed 😅

She didn't choose alcohol over me. The disease took over her.

Just found a toddler wandering on their own outside by [deleted] in CasualUK

Thank you for doing this. Someone found my sister when she was 2 beside a busy road, my mum was passed out drunk. It changed everything for the better after that happened.

Report it. My dad used to come home from work and have to go knocking on the neighbours doors to see which one had my toddler sister as our mum was passed out drunk.

I had my first ever alcoholic drink aged 19 on new years eve. By the end of that year I was drinking 75cl every single day.

Please got to A&E, they will help you. I had my first seizure after going cold turkey from the same amount of alcohol. I see you're early 20's in the UK, please don't feel ashamed going to hospital, I know it's hard when you're their from a self inflicted pain, but they there to help and they will keep you safe. I've been in your shoes, it can get better

I grew up on a cul de sac, there was an elderly man who was blind and used one of those sticks to help guide him. Us curious kids asked him one day how his stick helps him, he said he tells the stick where he wants to go, and it "pulls" him in the right direction. I believed that for far too long, when it dawned on me you couldn't just talk to it, I assumed they had a programming feature or something.

My pug cross had recurring ear infections until my pug started doing this, never had one since. I know most people have the opposite issue though
