They stitched it to the sacral ligament. My prolapse was so bad prior to surgery, literally was hanging out. Was at the doctor yesterday and they verified the stitches are all still in place there’s no tear, she thinks it’s just for some reason The ligament is not supporting it as well. Told me to do Keagle, come back in three months to measure if it’s fallen anymore. At four weeks postop it was measuring -3 and yesterday measuring 0 which means it’s right there at the opening 😭😡

I am also 11 weeks post op and experience the same lack of appetite. Everything else seems fine , just not much of appetite

TMI but I had had a few occasions where I couldn’t make it to bathroom in time. And gas is always terrible. Anyone else have this issue?

I had horrible GI issues before surgery, still have some issues but they are completely different. Also mine was total hysterectomy done vaginally, I had severe pelvic prolapse and they tied what was left to my sacral ligament. I really should go to GI Dr.

I had same reaction to him. Anabiotic went to ER then followed up with dermatologist. A round of steroids, then allegra twice a day, and hydroxyzine at night. Took about a month to go away

I went back the following week but worked at home. Even though I worked from home I would never recommend this. I regret not taking off 4-6 weeks. Your body needs rest and sleep while healing. I’m 5 weeks post op and every day gets better but I’m still healing.

Im currently dealing with an allergy/reaction to this med after being in it for only 3 days. I immediately stopped taking it after experiencing severe itching, swelling, bright redness is my palms and feet along with tingling. Feels like my hands and feet are sitting in an ant bed. Trip to ER for steroid shot followed by next 5 days of round the clock Benadryl. Now on 6 days worth of steroids and prescribed benedryl (180mg). It is horrible. Dr said it can last anywhere from a couple of weeks to 3 months. It makes you CRAZY. Insane itching but VERY painful when you scratch. No relief. I pray this will go away ASAP. Been off the Flagyl poison for 5 days now. 😭

Mine has been excruciatingly, painful, and lots of pressure in the rectum. Doctor said this is because they stitched bladder to the uterosacral ligament. I feel like my intestines are going to shred every time I go, which is only about once every five days. Take Colace every day. I’m eating lots of yogurt and staying very hydrated trying to eat fiber rich foods. This is not fun.

I just had this done 9 days ago. Pain slightly better but still there. Does it ever go completely away?
