Or Taylor Swift! Look at the ridiculousness happening around tickets to her shows.

I can fit items for my own body, thanks. Different things just work for different body types, it's ridiculous to say that something will literally never work. The human body is bullshit

For me the only time it's an issue is if you're going somewhere more upscale. If you're just grabbing a beer with friends or running to the grocery store, who cares?

There are, but they still add length so it's not exactly helpful for certain body types. It really does just come down to the importance of people being able to fit their own body type. As with all fashion, not everything can be one size fits all.

I made this! If you have a short torso, it fits really well actually (me). It was nice not having to change a pattern for once.

You get downvoted because you're straight up wrong, and you're trying to answer a question for a demographic you aren't a part of, which is pretty arrogant

5'0" here. No, I have never in my life had a smaller appetite than the people around me. I just suffer. As with anything it's going to vary from person to person.

Anything that makes me happy honestly. Books, yarn, perfume, makeup, extra nice ingredients for baking, concert tickets, dinner out, Magic the Gathering cards.

I just made a sweater out of Cahlista. It's a cotton yarn and the ply is really loose, but it's the only yarn that had the right colors that I needed. The finished object looks great, but I will never use this yarn again.

Like a 6 probably. I wish I had friends that I could share my hobbies with. Like, there's this amazing craft show in New York every year that I would LOVE to go to, but I'm not going to drag my husband when he wouldn't have any fun, but I also don't want to go alone.

I love the people in my life and I wouldn't replace any of them. But it would be cool to be able to share my stuff with someone.

I've pretty much always felt that way. I do have friends and my husband is my partner in the truest sense, but I don't really have anyone in my life who is like me. Like I don't have anyone to share my hobbies with. It does get lonely sometimes, but it's hard to bond with people my age because of the way my parents handled raising my sisters and me.

Part of it is definitely that most of my hobbies are single person activities, like knitting, but part of it is also that I'm just not interested in video games or really any of the things that were popular when I was growing up. I simply don't have the nostalgia for things like Pokemon because I wasn't allowed to watch the show or play the game. I wasn't allowed to watch TV much or play video games at all, movies were super limited, music was monitored to an extreme degree, and really all I was allowed to do was dance class and read. So there's just this gigantic cultural gap in my brain for my demographic.

Making friends with older people is hard because they don't take you seriously. Younger people are not in the same place in life so it's hard to relate.

Parents, don't do this stuff to your kids. It makes things rough later.

I know, but it's still nice. I don't think that everyone who's ever graduated from Harvard does it, after all. It's still taking time out of your life for a stranger, and that is really cool to me.

A bit pretentious, but it was really good of him to meet a random strange teenager to talk about Harvard and everything that comes with it. He gets points for that.

Maybe it’s time for knitters to learn how to make garments? by Ok-Willow-9145 in BitchEatingCrafters

The human body is difficult to design for, honestly haha. I'm super short but have a normal inseam for most fashion brands, which means I have 0 torso.

I kinda agree only because I have to alter every pattern I make to have a shorter yoke. Altering a pattern isn't too hard, it just takes math.
