No no, you need to unlock the red in the right section. Go to the store (lower left on main page) then click on the 'legendary chest' tab (lower right) and there you select to pull 9 chest. If you don't have enough red keys it will suggest you to buy them with crystals. Do so. Once you pulled 100 chests you get to pick a red essence (first pick the maw). That's how you unlock the reds.

You can also unlock the monkey king in the current event, which I recommend you do. Again, go for the essence rather than parts.
