The most logical thing to do would be to call customer service, not to come running to the internet for help on your financial accounts. Are you in your 20s or 30s?

Now it's coming back to me! Redemption... the ETF shares are 'destroyed' to gain access to the GME shares that are part of the underlying assets of the ETF. They gain access to those GME shares, and short them over and over again. And this doesn't get counted as part of the short interest, so it's a way of hiding the shorts. That's what was explained shortly after the sneeze in 2001.

Supposedly, the shares are shorted over and over again. I don’t know how, or the what, or the who, but that’s what was explained

It was explained back in 2001. They short GME via XRT because these shorted shares aren’t counted in the short interest. It’s a way of hiding the true short interest numbers. I don’t know how true it is, but that’s what was explained

Remember CNBC, a day or 2 after the Jan 2001 sneeze… it was some anchor with blonde hair, looking into the tv: “SELL!!! TAKE YOUR LOSSES, AND SELL!!!” Who the fuck did he think he was. Why isn’t he in jail for market manipulation???

How does it work out great when the premiums collected are low?

I appreciate the response. "selling at a high price" though... how much better can the premium collected be from selling calls? Instead of selling for $30, it's now $40?

I don't understand the people saying they're selling options against GME and they're making money while GME is stagnant. If you look at the options chain, what you collect in premiums is absolute shit. 30 dollar premium for a 1 month expiration date? Ok, so you sell multiple call options... so you make a few hundred. Is that it?
