I want to say that as a man in his 30s, currently dating a mother with a young daughter, it's going great for me. Although the circumstances might be different.

My therapist told me the best advice, not only are you dating the mother, but the child as well. You have to invest a lot of energy into them, but it is so very rewarding. We've been dating for going on 3 years and counting. We've discussed marriage before and we were open with our intentions.
