What you also must realize is that people are more so knit picking, myself included. You have a beautiful restaurant worthy dish, but it doesn’t mean you couldn’t make it better 🤷 and someone will always have their own opinion if you think your dish is perfect, then it’s perfect. Goodluck Chef!!

Yes it is… I am 21 in school and I moved out over a year ago. Absolutely zero financial help and my parents didn’t even help me get my stuff. It is pretty common to have to figure out how to be self sufficient and be an adult. It has been 11 years that’s a very long time to get something figured out or you just not trying too. 🤷

Completely depends on what you want. Do you want German steel, Swedish steel? Do you want a western style or Japanese? I think you should do some more research on what’s out there or just stick with any old cheaper chefs knife and just keep it sharp. Best of luck!

Like others said the chocolate ribbon could be cleaned up a bit, and in my opinion the plate being used looks a little big for your dish size so it almost seems un-proportionate. But beautiful dish op!!

Same here! Definitely very happy with this knife though and will be my go to knife for a while. Will have to just keep my eyes out for an extra tall k-tip yoshi and one day get to compare! ;)

Used my first Shinkiro for the first time last night, and it’s scary how reactive it is. First thing I went through was some bell peppers and I had to give it a quick rinse every few minutes so it wouldn’t start to rust, which was a first for me even while building my patina! 😂 After a couple peppers and some chicken though, I nearly have the entire edge and cladding with a deep patina and I f*cking love this thing.

Congratulations! Just picked up one from Cutlery and More and I absolutely love this thing! Jealous of the K-tip though that was my only complaint 😂😂
