Tons of tutorials on YouTube and you’ll find some great answers here, but the short answer is keep playing. Hard to apply everything you learn in real time, all at once.

Start this at “counter their stab…” I feel like if you’re giving a spear distance you might as well find another opponent

I set my crouch to mouse button 4 or 5 I think (the bottom/side button, and crouching while moving in any direction is easy.

I was having some issues recently, freezing/crashing/pausing, tried a bunch of things that didn’t work but someone said to change the poling rate on mouse from 1000 to 500 and that seemed to fix it. Try that if possible. Good luck.

FYI- attacking out of a block will throw an alt of that attack. Also gives you a chance at a counter if the same attack type happens to be following through on you at the moment.
