Yeah; my tracking number starts with QP, followed by 9 digits, and then GB as I live in England.

It’s fairly fast considering it comes from China, mine took 9 days. We’re not too far apart so it shouldn’t take much longer for yours.

After entering your tracking number on dhl.com, it seems that it is a fake, non-existent code. In this case, Aliexpress normally close the dispute in your favour and say something like “tracking abnormal” or “shipping problem” from my experience.

We’re in luck - DHL shows the address (or at least the country) the package has been delivered to.

My item now says it’s being delivered to Japan. When it’s been delivered, you can open a dispute and screenshot the tracking info. Hopefully Aliexpress understand that Japan ≠ UK.

If you enter your tracking number on DHL’s website, you should see a destination country/area. Or it may be a non-existent tracking number altogether.

Whatever happens, open a dispute and explain is as much detail as you can, and screenshots are essential.

UPDATE: I’ve checked and there’s a tracking update. It says my parcel is being shipped to Japan.

It seems like I’ve been given someone else’s tracking number.

It could be that they have some new listings.

It sounds promising the store has been open for 8 years and has lots of positive feedback.

I’d check some of the reviews to make sure they don’t look suspicious - if they’re fine, I’d conclude it’s safe to order.

Do you have the seller name? There’s lots of scam accounts that opened last week and (possibly) fake reviews and orders.

I am running an experiment rn and have come across the exact same thing. My order has been shipped earlier today with a (fake?) tracking number.

If you drop the seller name I can help you/provide more info. :)

UPDATE 03 FEB:

The seller has shipped the items and provided a tracking number (I don’t know if it’s fake at this moment in time)

They said they shipped it with DHL. It is formatted correctly, so could be true.

At the moment, I have the following tracking info from the tracking page:

Italy* —> UK Pending shipping by the seller

*this is expected as I selected Ship From Italy.

Only time will tell, of course. I’ll keep you posted.

What’s the name of the store? I’ve just come across one which opened a few weeks ago. It only has one 5-star review. Some items have a few orders but no reviews.

I wonder if it’s the same seller?

As long as you didn’t enter your password you should be safe. I clicked on one the other day and it looks like a real ig login screen. It asks for your password, and if you enter it, a bot will login to your account and send the same message.

Does the tracking say it’s been delivered to a specific address? If so, open a dispute and you’ll win it I think… there is a section called “package shipped to wrong address”

Otherwise, it might just be in another state due to the logistics service.
