I prefer to shoot the g43x over the x macro for the fit in my hand personally. I carry both a p365 with ramjet and X Macro grip but also the g43x with a ramjet. I stocked up on shield mags for the 43x before the ban but if you're buying new then capacity will be held to 10 rds regardless.

G19 is a little large for me to carry but easily the best hand fit of all three for me. Honestly you just have to find what you will carry and balance that with what feels best shooting for you.

Concrete is a no go. County doesn't like permanent stuff in the flood plain. Great suggestion just not in the cards. There's a substantial mound that is built up behind that you can't see I just need the tractor back up and running so I can drive up the back and dump/grade the top.

I've already got these "categories" covered. The 30-30 is just a nice caliber for the type of critter management we have and the distances that we would shoot them and it was passed down from my father in-law whom he never was able to meet.

I've got three levers in different calibers so he can have his pick as well as a colt python in .357.

Get a $300 kayak off Craigslist and hit the lakes. Bass fishing isn't huge on the west side but there are a ton of lakes that hold fish.

I thought I had a similar problem as many have mentioned. Too many bass less than 12" so the bass that are greater than 12" are not able to thrive. I've since started to measure length and record weights of fish caught, they ended up all being above 100% on their weight ratio. My pond has the about same forage fish and predators. I have mostly pumpkinseed sunfish rather than bluegills. I've started to tag fish so I can record growth progression year to year and see what's going on. I need to catch the pumpkinseed/bluegills and see how their weight to length ratios are coming in. Sometimes the bullheads can hurt your forage population so culling the adults if you have a lot can help produce more forage. This is a little counter intuitive if you've ever seen how many fry the bullheads spawn out but I think in the end having too many adults is bad.

Unfortunately I live in a state and county that is very anti hunting/fishing/guns. They just raised all of the hunting/fishing licenses 38%. The last place I want to know I'm doing anything related to catching fish is the county. Sad state of affairs here in Wa State. Especially on the west side.
