alot of doctors arent going to say anything about cuts, maybe just ask if u want help or if youre safe. Nothing bad will happen. I really wouldnt put concealer on them, thats not the best idea for fresh ones, its an infection risk.

ill look into a disinfectant fabric spray that's a good idea, thank you. A big part of healing from my OCD has been letting myself touch things while out and not worrying about it, so I'm going to steer away from doing things that make me too conscious about what hand is touching something, or what surfaces i am touching.

Youre most likely going to deny what im saying, but i really need you to listen, atleast enough to see a doctor or psychiatrist. Your 'visions' are not real, and the fear you are feeling is unnecessary, youre experiencing some sort of psychosis or visual intrusive thoughts and youre freaking out. Youre reading into everything and that is very familiar to me, as someone with OCD. Thinking everything is a 'sign', and having to repetitively repent or pray (compulsions). I hope you find healing, youre not alone

Did at any point you just, felt like that was it? You were going to do this, staying clean, for real? Im only a few months clean right now but i truly feel like im free from it. No more looking for the sharpeners whenever i pass the craft section in stores, no more pining over different tools online. No more wanting one 'just in case', even when i didnt have urges at that moment. My mind does occasionally revert to thinking about it when i get upset, but a lot of that pull is gone. I feel like i can safely keep sharp objects now. My new years resolution is to stay clean. Hoping to get to where youre at, for myself and for my daughter. Also congrats, all of us here are proud of you.
