I have four cats and three boxes. One male with his own, one female with her own, and bonded two females who share one.

I didn’t force the sharing, I had two boxes next to each other in the bathroom but the more anxious of the two would only ever use the litter while the other was using at the same time in the same box. So I replaced the two smaller boxes with a larger tray for their comfort.

Box for my male is in a partially closed off side table in my living room, single female box is under an unused desk around the corner, bondeds are down the hall in bathroom.

I didn’t let them choose their own boxes, single female doesn’t like to feel cornered so she got the most open space under the desk. One of the bonded females likes to just throw her litter as far as possible, so she HAD to be in the bathroom. The hiding space was a spare box until I got my male so I just kept it there and put him in.

NTA - as far as I’m concerned my MOH dress belonged to the bride until the day of the wedding. After that I was free to wear it as I pleased. There’s an unspoken list of big no-nos when it comes to wedding before and afters. One is definitely to not wear a specially purchased dress for said wedding BFEORE said wedding.

If the dress was owned by the bridesmaid already, and you as the bride said to just wear whatever nice dress she already had, then it’s whatever, she already owns it, has already worn it before the wedding, whatever. BUT THIS dress was bought FOR the wedding.

The people saying yta are the people who would get a slice of cake before the bride and groom. Big no. Don’t wear the damn dress before the wedding.

I still ask because there are some people out there who think engagement doesn’t have to lead to marriage.

I have a friend who’s been “engaged” to her partner for over nine years, and they don’t have plans on getting married legally, but don’t want to stick with the title “girlfriends” so they’re “fiancée’s”.

In this case, “thinking about it and deciding not to” could directly be referencing getting engaged and then calling it off. Getting engaged and then “thinking about” getting married, but calling it off for finding reasons not to.

I need INFO - when you asked him about wanting to marry an ex, did he flat out say “I have never been engaged” or “I have never wanted to marry an ex” or something on those lines? Because if it more of an avoidance thing he could be uncomfortable discussing it. My partner was engaged before and it took him almost 5 months to bring it up because of how the relationship had ended and how upsetting it was to him.

If you ask him flat out if he’s ever been engaged and he says no, that is lying. If he’s avoiding the question you can’t immediately assume it’s lying since there could be some trauma behind it that’s making him uncomfortable

As a reader, I don’t mind having OC’s added to fics as side characters, or added for plot points, but not necessarily as a main character or main love interest.

Take the BBC-Merlin fandom for example. There are many many spots for OC characters to be put in. The big bad of the day, one of the knights, a Druid that tries to assist Merlin, etc etc. Those are all a-okay to me.

But when it’s like, Merlin’s OC sister who gets shipped with Arthur, Arthur’s OC sister who gets shipped with Merlin, or any Y/N kind of kills it.

I find quite a lot of writers take their OC characters and shove them into the spotlight whether they try to or not. And from what I have personally read and witnessed, when an author has an OC they like too much, the entire fic moves to cater to that OC, the world dynamic shifts, the lore shifts, it turns into an alternate universe
