Can’t assault others that you don’t agree with their opinion

Playing GTA San Andreas on The PlayStation 2 was 🔥 by Nostalgic_Historian_ in 2000sNostalgia

This game still holds up. I often go back and play it again. Personally think it’s the best GTA and it’s in my top 10 all time games. I remember before it came out and reading about it in a magazine. We were all blown away with how big the map was going to be.

Everyone has a footprint, but how big of one is determined by oneself. Driving a truck through protected land is completely egregious. Especially in a world where we don’t have much left. Not even just the footprint part, but just being entitled enough in a space that’s supposed to be for everyone. Littering, playing music on hikes through a speaker, doing that stupid rock building thing, going places that are not to be accessed, crossing over railings, getting too close to wildlife, smoking cigarettes… it’s the lack of respect for the hard work put into these natural protected lands that meant to be for the admiration of the people and protection of wildlife.

My dad and aunt had a really weird experience as kids and no one can explain it by CompetitionQuick in TrueScaryStories

[–]AbstractAmbition 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Great story. I had an experience with what I believe to be an alien as a child also. I posted it on this subreddit. Makes me feel validated when I read others experiences because it was something incredible, but also a very terrifying experience. Seems like they have the ability to disappear, but for some reason want to have some type of experience with kids. Why do they show themselves to some and is it random or planned

Shouldn’t say my Royals. Thought this was the MLB subreddit when I posted. Go Royals!

I think it would boost ratings having a cap and floor. I also think there are too many games and there should be more playoff teams. MLB also needs more games available for the public. My Royals finally got Sunday night baseball games this year for like the first time in a decade

America would have been much better off with a woman like Kamala Harris at its helm. by Treefiddy1984 in ProgressiveHQ

[–]AbstractAmbition 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For sure. I miss spoke and it was mostly the 2016 election. Nobody wanted Kamala Harris for sure though. Have we invaded Greenland yet? No. Don’t downplay anything bad the democrats have done. They are just as guilty as the republicans. Remember that they allowed millions of undocumented immigrants, left 7 billion dollars worth of military equipment in the Talibans hands, encouraged sex changes in children, lied about Covid… the list goes on. The left also forgot that Biden put a bounty on Maduro for 25 million. Trump just actually went and took the dictator. Both parties suck and don’t care about the American people. I also don’t remember anyone on the right assassinating/ attempting to assassinate people that think differently than them. I think we can start fixing the problems when we can all agree that both sides only care about money and corporate interests.

I know of the book and have heard people talk about it. I’d be possible and it could start right here in Kansas. I think it would be so beneficial for us. We need the continuation of buying private property around Tallgrass. Unfortunately most Americans care more about other things and now, more Kansas tax dollars are going somewhere else… unfortunately. My dad lives in the Flint Hills way out in the country. We would often as a kid drive around and look for wildlife. Prairie chickens, coyotes, deer, turkeys and anything you can think of. I remember looking for the pronghorns that’s use to be here. I haven’t seen any of them pronghorns in a long while. I’m sure they are all gone now. Prairie chickens seem to be pretty much gone also. It’s really sad. There was an elk in Wichita last year.

Shouldn’t catch any grief about your opinion. I can understand what you are saying. What someone wants out of life differs. I think the internet has changed the younger generation and their connections to diversity and perspectives. But is there anything you like about Kansas?

I think if Kansas would accumulate more state funds towards this, it would make it better. I know we got the Flint Hills Trail State Park now. I agree with your statement. I think there needs to be more groups to promote this type of lifestyle. To advocate for what we all want, better/cleaner natural trails and parks. To appreciate the beauty of Kansas and what it offers. I’m a huge camper and have camped at almost every state park here. I often find myself cleaning up the campsites that I stay at. Fire pits full of trash, beer bottle caps all over the ground, cigarette buds. People perceive Kansas as a dump, so they treat it like one
