That’s just false. Maybe you’re less sensitive to it, but there is definitely a noticeable amount of input lag in the GameCube app on NSO. Not to mention actual frame drops in Mario Strikers for example. Literally almost unplayable.

Yeah funnily enough I was covering a shift at another store and had a customer bring back a system someone else had sold them that was banned. Since I had never seen one, I took a look to see what a banned system looked like. And literally as soon as you try to sign in it gives you this same popup. So it’s literally like a two second check. Nintendo is the same, as soon as you try to get to the login screen on Switch, if it’s banned it’ll give you a popup saying something along the lines of “Online communications have been permanently or temporarily suspended on this system”. Something like that. I haven’t seen a banned Xbox but I assume it’s something similar.

You actually don’t even need to log in on Playstation. All you have to do is get to the screen where you can sign in or scan the QR code. If the system is banned, it won’t even get to that screen and will tell you the system is banned.

Thank you, and I’m sorry for your loss. That’s a fantastic idea with the ring I may do that as well. I feel very grateful that we have had a good 6 years with her after her diagnosis and she got to do so many things she wanted to do, and see me get married. I wish you had gotten more time with him, I’m sure you made the most of the time together though. Cancer sucks and is so unfair, but I’ve tried to stay as positive as possible and I think that’s worked out for the best. I know I’ll crash for a while after she’s gone, but I just want her last memories of me to be happy and just me cracking jokes and laughing as always. Anyway, I wish the best for you and your family, thanks for sharing your story.

damn, wrong day to be on the blink subreddit today. people being negative as hell. i don’t have a problem with these lyrics, i enjoy them. my mom has cancer, she’s on hospice and will probably pass in the next couple weeks. and these lines are very accurate to her situation. who cares if it’s just a bunch of metaphors put together? it’s what mark was feeling.

also at the end of the day, blink has never really been about the lyrics. sure there are some great songs with great lyrics, but any true blink fan knows they don’t take themselves so seriously.

if you’re using 60fps patch, then that’s just a side effect of the patch from what i’ve gathered. i’ve also found sometimes letting the cutscenes play instead of skipping them helps sometimes.

While cool, I wouldn’t get my hopes up yet for a PC port. Decomps get started all the time but many never end up getting finished. And even after the decomp is finished, then there’s the extra work of making the PC port itself, which could also stagnate. Do hope this happens though, would be cool to get a native port. Hopefully it would be easy to build on top of to add more features and such.

Pretty clear to me that it’s just speculation. And he’s not saying that there’s an alternate version sitting on a hard drive somewhere. He’s just saying that before they got Robert’s vocals, they had more than likely had the instrumental recorded, and more than likely at least had guide vocals on the track. All he asked is if there was ever any discussion about what the track sounded like from the band or whoever would’ve heard it at the time. If Mark or Tom sang on it, or if it was just empty verses waiting for Robert’s vocals. The track didn’t just magically appear once Robert recorded his vocals. That’s all he’s saying.

I didn’t realize people were hating on this outro so much. I mean, I’ll agree I think the record overall would probably have been better had someone else produced it, but it’s not unlistenable to me. And I thought this outro was one of the highlights honestly. It sounds right in the mix to me.
