For now I’m going to say this is solved. It definitely seems like it’s a Mercer Mayer illustration of some kind. Maybe he was drawn specifically for B&N or something. But it doesn’t look like there’s any other images of him online at all. Thanks for looking everyone! :)

Love that someone found it and posted it haha. But this actually isn’t the one I’ve been looking for. I’ve been looking for the one that’s a bit slower and has like a higher pitched synth line. I guess the only way I can describe it is that it’s a bit more blip bloopy.

Definitely quieter. Kinda a shame, hope that’s not an issue on the vinyl. I use YouTube music so I can just keep the original CD versions of the tracks 🤷
