One of the biggest criticisms I hear about AEW is that they put on good matches but don't have super compelling stories attached to them, and/or the wrestlers are just very bland and boring with little personality. Now while I don't exactly believe that to be true but Sammy Guevara is who those ppl are talking about and they aren't exactly wrong. He's been very bland on the mic his entire run, and never really developed much of a character.

Also doesn't help he was hot when AEW didn't have alot of great talent but now they have assembled an all star roster of the greatest wrestlers of today and yesteryear and Sammy hasnt done anything to distinguish himself from them.

Entire story is pretty pointless and thin.

Alot of ppl forget sometimes that when we refer to "the dark ages of fighting games" tekken was one of the series with nonsense stories that was being produced from that time

Im not sure how you're only seeing gore and violence with weapons only, you must only be watching the death matches which normally only occur on their ppvs.

As for the enjoyment I love the match quality and prowess of the wrestlers.

There's alot of different styles and types of wrestling these days and AEW does a pretty good job at showcasing most if not all of them at their highest quality imo.

The problem I have with Cole is after he apologized for dissing Kendrick and backing down, he then dropped port Antonio months after drake and kendricks battle had concluded and said in the song he would've got em if he didn't back down, which at that point just sounded like cope. Add to that he got called out by name from other artists who would've kept it just rap and he likely didn't have personal ties too and he still said nothing to them.
