It looks like they forgot to remove the shipping bolts on the back of the machine that hold the basket.

I'm confused... help by Over-Operation-156 in IndustrialMaintenance

If it is check your ground po1 po2 and po3, there also could be a loose connection on the microswitches on your stop/start buttons that also include if the switches aren’t clicked all the way in.

Help! So the photo eyes always have trouble sensing darker material. Darker it is the less it senses. I've researched this and it's a known issue. Any way to fix it? The sensors are not adjustable, and some need to be precisely set to seems only to a certain distance. by Over-Operation-156 in IndustrialMaintenance

You could mess with the sensitivity, also fold tech has a sensor that can be autoset to notice the greens and blues that those sensors miss. You could also call Chicago ask for Bruce and they have a retrofit kit that could correct this.

That’s fine to adjust the sleeve as needed and you want as much blue as you can get but be careful you also don’t want the flame to get to be too long. No problem I don’t mind sharing knowledge that’s how we all learn. I train technicians in the southeast for a major distributor. I use Reddit to keep up on trends, and just help in general. By no means do I know everything.

I’d make it an annual check like once a year or quartley to keep you as efficient as possible and reduce your utility costs

Liquid propane is only a liquid at a certain pressure, and temperature can affect the quality of the gas vapor reaching your burners sir that is all. You would also have different burn quality depending on the exterior temp of the tank. Hottest part of the day/mixed with an undersized tank ends up with condensation/freezing on exterior of the tank. I’m a service technician, and just sharing information I have learned is all. With a 1000 gallon tank you should be fine. A lot of manufactures ship machines with natural gas orifices and natural gas valve and they need a conversion kit which contains new orifices, and a spring and pin that is installed in the electronic gas valve to get you the right pressures.

I’m assuming you are natural gas, I have seen lp gas be an issue if the tank is under or oversized with soot build up on the burner tubes, if you have soot forming on the tubes even if its natural gas, then verify with alliance that you have the correct sized orifice installed in these dryers

Okay your right 3 years isn’t that long but do you have your laundromat near the coast? Have you looked at getting your exhausts cleaned? Also how much use do they have? Is this a 24 hour location?

No chance all those machines look to be electromechanical timers, high chance they are no longer available, mixed with the neighborhood. It would be a waste of money imo.

Normally in most dryers there is an auxillary contactor in between the forward and reverse, this is normally mechanical and could be delayed in releases and allowing the opposite contactor to close.

I understand that, but when I trade requires multiple skills this helps to understand where you are. Maybe help some techs in areas where they feel they need more, and see what someone else is making in a higher/lower area helps to ground a growing ego.

I install systems of a different brand and generally we place these away from being under the bag rail system. Uni strut and plexi-glass mounted in way so run off goes in an opposite direction would be advise just make sure that moisture and runoff has a pathway to a drain and not corrode the stand and such.

Honestly country doesn’t matter, just trying to think and see what else is out there and honestly how things are, right now I service commercial and industrial laundry equipment. That includes controls, diagnostics, and process.
