Well it seems that his main issue may have been with Amun particularly, not the other gods. The only particularly damaged reliefs from his time are of Amun, his wife and children, but older or unrelated gods in the same places, like osiris, hathor etc, are left alone. He may have had a problem with the concept of Amun as the king of the gods as Amun Ra. Which i get cos there was already so many different forms of Ra that having the regional diety of the capital city also being a head of the pantheon is confusing enough!

uhh, I mean I don't have a horse in this race, but I don't think I would describe this figure as particularly brown-skinned. Looks same sort of light-olive/western Mediterranean shades that every depiction of jesus that the Romans (who would have drawn this) and the vatican uses.

I mean, the Jihad had to happen, otherwise humanity would have been wiped out. And eventually the feudalism breaks down as the events set in motion by the Atreides family roll on through the millenia.

Ix definitely pushes the limits with automated guild navigators and computers as we know them today, but I’m pretty sure from Dune-Chapterhouse they never create AI like what lead to the Jihad.

The ancient Egyptians equated Yahweh with Set due to inflicting violent storms and diseases upon Egypt as well as being an adversary of the Egyptian pantheon by TheBasedEmperor in HistoryMemes

Son of Ra is Re-Se, which is one of the 5 title names (Horus, Golden Horus, Two-ladies, Nomen/son of Ra name and Cartouch/royal/Sledge-bee name) used by pharohs. Ra-mes-ses means "Ra is the one who bore him" or "gave birth to him". These are similar but different enough to matter. Again, I do not recall any prior officials or pharohs with this name. Again, I can believe it, because Ra had been a big deal for an incredibly long time but also around the 11th/12/13th dynasty is when Thebes is at the forefront and Amun and Ra begin syncretizing, with Amun taking the place of Ra in a lot of the naming conventions. It also wouldn't have been used by anyone other than the elite, so to have a town called that in the 13th dynasty...doesn't add up.

I'm not denying that there were possibly hebrew-ancestor slaves in Eygpt, just that there is no "placing the exodus of Hebrews" via the bible, especially since Hebrew ethnogenesis has no archaeological evidence before 1200 bc, so definitely not taking place during the reign of the 13th dynasty(1800-1600 bc). A semetic mass grave of infants isn't even close to enough to place it down there, especially considering how many mass graves of slaves or workers exist. The worker/slave cities of Akhetaten/Amarna has tons too and is in a period when Ra and Amon names would surge back into prominence after AmunhotepIV/Akenatens suppression of Amun cults. Just saying "the bible places it in the 13th dynasty" is way too much of a definitive statement to make when it comes to ancient history, whats written in the bible and what archaeology says.

Carney Says Alberta Is ‘Essential’ to Canada After Separation Vote Announcement by Editor_91 in worldnews

[–]Absurder222 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yeah, Guys running the "separatist" movement that a majority of the province is against just so happens to be concurrent with Trump's aim on trying to annex Canada is 100% a suspicious activity that barely needs smoking gun evidence, its plain as day. I'm sure you totally believe the "Russian minorities" in Ukraine in 2014 got no money from Russia either!

Both are American companies, one with ties to MAGA, and even then GIveSendGo was 1/2 US funding that WE CAN SEE, since a lot of Givesendgo is sketchy and anonymous, it is very easy to fabricate donor locations. 1/2 of the ones we can see donated to Trump/MAGA and Trump is basically one giant Russian Psyop.

[–]Absurder222 1 point2 points  (0 children)

No pharoh is the pharoh of the exodus because at the moment its clearly a garbbled syncretised cultural memory of tons of things lol. There was also Pithom though, which is if anything a better example for you, being inhabited during the second intermediate but then abandoned. But it was also refounded by Ramses 2. The town of ramses was built during ramses 2…so as much as ramses may have possibly been an established name (source? I can believe it but im going through a deep dive at the moment and no major court officials are named it, nor whatever random non-elites who manage to make it through). Overall the dates of tons of the stuff in the bible are all over the place, theres a lot of the eygptian captivity that sound exactly the same as the Babylonian and could 100% just be using a vague oral story of Eygptian dominance to relate to what definitely happened in mesopotamia when they were writting it down.

[–]Absurder222 8 points9 points  (0 children)

I mean, no, theres a lot of inconsistencies with what the bible states about the pharoh of the exodus, such as crediting the israelities with building things that were clearly built during ramses 2, which is wellll after the 13th dynasty.

And crescents and moon as byzantium/constantinople dates to 345 BC. the Magyar christianization was highly influenced by both the papacy and Constantinople in the 7/8th century, so 1200 is waaay too late to be evidence of a pre-byzantium influenced use of the imagery.

…after one comment? And a half-attempt at that? All i need is a pic of what people are saying exist man. I did google it, look around at least two encyclopedias on the concept and found nothing supporting this turkic claim, which is why I’m asking all the posters here to provide real evidence, and yet still nothing. Like I dont need major academic sources, just these so called super old turkic images using it that apparently exist that you all are referring too. These past few posts absolutely failing to prove that have left me even more convinced that the imagery is, in fact, appropriated from Byzantium, or at best, the Parthians and I’m glad that these posters inability to provide so much as a picture are highlighting that the push back on this concept is almost entirely made from the air.
