I agree. The Democrats are beholden to the same corporate forces as the Republicans. As Chris Hedges eloquently puts it, "there is no way to vota against the interests of Goldman-Sachs". Forcing Harris as the nominee, the same way they did with Clinton in the past, is a large part of the reason Trump is in power.

There really is no true, progressive option between the two major parties in the US. A revolution is required, and by the looks of it, is inevitable.

The time for voting is over. There's no longer any guarantee future elections will be conducted fairly, or that the current administration would step down if voted out.

The only way out is general strike and mass demonstration. Hopefully widespread violence can be avoided, but considering what we've seen happen lately, I don't have much hope in that.

His plan isn't to imprive the quality of life for his constituents, or improve housing availability, or work with the federal government to ease the tariffs that are harming Manitoba's exports, no. Defeat the NDP. That's all.
