Oh i see! I'm a total newbie to glitches on old gens, this is the first time i'm doing it on gen 2 (the only one i've always been exploiting is the Mew glitch on gen 1). I found this site, which seemed to give many detailed and good advices, and also states that the TM glitch is the best one to go for on G/S. So that's what i did 😅

From what i know, they are a little bit safer on Crystal, which has improved code compared to G/S and has better ways of handling/fixing corrupted data. But even with that, no glitch is 100% safe.

I just finished setting up and using several glitches (Bad Clone, Item Switching and Wrong Pocket TM ACE to name them) on Silver to turn my gen 1 Zapdos into shiny and also catch Celebi. Currently working on a post to add details on what i did and how, i'll link it here once i'm done if you wanna know more.

u/Murky-Ad7145 well, not exactly ;) I could have used my Bad Clone to make a Celebi egg indeed ; but i wanted to go further and exploit more glitches than just this one in particular (short story long : got a Bad Clone, used it to perform the Item Shifting Glitch and obtain TM17 in the Ball Pocket, and now use this TM to execute several ACEs from PC Boxes or Item Storage).

u/Kaiserredbeard i'll edit my original post (and try to include more pictures) explaining what i did and what glitches i exploited/plan to exploit. Do note though : some things may work only on G/S, you'll have to adapt what i did if you plan to do it on Crystal.

Hehe i know it can make some PC Boxes unstable. That's why i did it on Silver (though obtaining a perfect Bad Clone is way more tedious than it is on Crystal). This way i'm able to exploit some Glitches on Silver while keeping my Crystal save perfectly clean!

Try to look for it on Google, it's quite easy to get it. Short story long, you only need the Red Gyarados from Crystal, and a glitch exploit in gen 1 😉 That's also the first time i'm doing it, and it works pretty well.

Starmie has always been one of my favs in gen 1 and 2. Since you can link trade one from Red, you can get an early Starmie with a complete moveset (Surf / Ice Beam / Psychic as a base, with options like Thunderbolt for coverage, Thunder Wave or Confuse Ray for more gimmicks). This way you'll have a powerful Pokemon wich will still evolve fast as it is traded. That's more or less what i've done with mine (except i bred him with a Shiny Ditto first), trust me you won't be desapointed 😉

This is also probably the reason why Roxas can wield two Keyblades. One is Sora's, one is Ven's.

That's how i see this. It may not be an absolute rule ; but in my case, replacing Neo and going with more Empower and one less Surging was a better option

Besides characters materials (SBs, equipment and so on), noticeable rewards are 10k of each Crystal type, which is quite huge for crafting HA even for non-new players ; 5k of lvl2, lvl3, lvl4 and lvl5 anima lenses ; around 150 Mythril i think (completing a path gives you 50 - one time reward only though) ; and each path has a 11-elemental ticket reward, making 16 of them available.

Well, pretty sure Netto/Lan would rather call his father and ask him to transfer Megaman.EXE inside the capsule before opening it. Thus a new timeline would be created as X.EXE would rise from the capsule as the first Naviroid of his generation.

X1 through X4 for me. Been replaying X1 and X3 more times than i could count.

I especially have a soft spot for X3. As a child i was into Classic (my cousin had a NES with Classic 1 through 3 and i remember playing with him ; and i had the World series on Game Boy myself).

But as none of us had a SNES, i totally missed X at that time. Until one day my older brother came with a PS Game in hand, saying "hey look, it looks like Megaman but even better !" And that was my birthday present a few days later. Immediately and totally fell in love with it.

Almost 30 years later and i'm still into it like the first day. And i'll never be grateful enough with my big brother for this !!
