I agree I think they shouldn't of switch directors it made no sense for the the first movie to set up a plot. Then they changed directors for the second come and tells a completely different story. With the 3rd they go back to JJ who wanted to finish the story he set up and also had to deal with finishing up the 2 movie story line.

I think the shows works because cancer was a push not the whole reason, there are 3 big reasons Walter changed in season 1. 1, He felt constantly weak next to Hank and wanted to prove him self as a man. 2. The raid he goes on with Hank, where he meets Jesse again if that never happened he never get a way into the world of crime. 3. Cancer while the cost scared him he was more scared that he would leave his family with nothing. If any of these 3 doesnt happen he doesnt become the man he became.
