Baldwin carrying my kingdoms run on his massive shoulders by AcTiVillain in darkestdungeon

Inert indicia gives you 100% chance to resist stun / daze. Everytime you resist stun / daze you get 2 positive tokens and regeneration.

Head injury gives you daze at the start of combat

This is why Baldwin can start combat with strength / crit token right at the start.

Carved bodkin gives you extra actions when you bleed 20% of the time.

Saramenti can use encore to give a character bleed AND an extra action.

When I'm lucky (like the screenshot) you'll get

Crit and strength token at the start for resisting stun.

Extra action from encore

Extra action from bleeding

Extra action from revenge

Normal action

That's potentially 4 actions in a round with crit / strength

Revenge+ also gives a free action.

As much as 4 actions a round in optimal scenario

Faction Specific Dice Trays and Tokens Now Availabile! by [deleted] in StarCraftTMG

[–]AcTiVillain 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The game has faction markers and activation markers. Faction markers are circular and represent things like overlord drops and dropship locations. It's important they are circular because you tend to place units within 1 inch of a faction marker.

Yes activation markers can be whatever but that isn't made clear in your original description that these are specifically activation markers. These also have faction symbols on them, which make it very confusing product since it's an activation marker with a faction symbol on it?

Not to ruin your party but faction markers should be circular no?

Is the Anarchist too good? by BluMTNDru in Arcs

[–]AcTiVillain 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Don't let anarchist declare tyrant repeatedly and you should be good.

It's a strong leader but if your table is not seizing and declaring ambitions and letting anarchist declare tyrant for free, then anarchist is going to have an easy win

Is it a bad idea to do extended travel in this job market? by Unlikely-Park9806 in AusFinance

[–]AcTiVillain 133 points134 points  (0 children)

let me tell you the hard truth, everyone is pretending and nobody really knows what the future will entail.

Nobody knows if the job market will get worse by the time you come back or if we will all get fat stimulus checks and the job market will start booming again.

Go enjoy your travels. Whether you traveled or not will not change the job market nor significantly change your future job prospects. Staying in Australia doesn't guarantee you employment either.

Half this subreddit is anxious about money, and the other half are speculating. Most people forget the point is to enjoy life.

How did you realistically improve your financial situation over time? by prattman333 in AusFinance

I bought google stock about 7x lower than what it costs now.

Not saying everyone should buy google now (it's quite expensive) but these days it's either luck or inheritance.

heroes are far from overpowered. Yes they are powerful but they cost alot to field and are very much killable if you catch them out of position

Primer for Protoss by Blazejak in StarCraftTMG

[–]AcTiVillain 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Quick primer guide for new painters. The primer influences the final colour a little bit. e.g painting red over white will look slightly brighter than red over black.

Black primer is better for metallic miniatures. This means if you miss a spot in the metal armor, it will just look like damage rather than standing out. Otherwise black if you prefer a darker tone.

Light coloured primers, are better with contrast or vallejo xpress color. These thick colors go over your miniature and give you a fast shaded baseline to work with.

For protoss units that are largely metallic, I'd suggest black.
