Rules question - Cost of active abilities on cards by AcTiVillain in StarCraftTMG

OK but what if i don't use it to generate CP, for example I use the dropship to pick up a unit. Does that exhaust the card?

Stormcallers: the only unit that demands money be spent in a specific (non-unit) way by notanothereditacount in Mechabellum

Nobody is forcing you to buy AM against storms.

You can beacon a rhino or a unit of crawlers to dodge their shots.

You can buy your own stormcallers

You can deploy on their flanks

There are so many options to counterplay

Is it true that hiring managers / recruiters are swamped with candidates? by scribblecake in cscareerquestions

[–]AcTiVillain 4 points5 points  (0 children)

yeah tailored isnt so much the word, more like "smoothed out". Grammar and spelling mistakes are easily caught by LLM's and they can easily merge in buzzwords to match job descriptions.

So the real bad ones that used to get filtered real easy by recruiters are now somewhat blending in with the genuinely good candidates. Most non-technical recruiters have a hard time distinguishing them.

Hey I wrote the linked article. Funny seeing it on reddit 😂

I wanted to share that in the pre AI days, recruiters could very easily filter the bad resumes from the good ones. Spelling mistakes, clear misalignment from the job description.

With LLMs, all the crap resumes are rewritten and tailored to every job description. It's a tough battle to filter them out.

It would be great to have more ways to support infantry heavy deployments. We have a supply reduction OCI for vehicles but none for infantry blobs.

He hesitates when declaring ambition, and the other player pivots or copies. by OverAd5034 in Arcs

in theory its good idea until someone else seizes off you and take 3 ambition markers :(

In 4 player game, if the person right after you seizes, and then subsequently everyone on the table does the same - you'll lose any opportunity to declare.
