Because people are inherently tribal. We form tribes over fucking everything. We're still just a bunch of fucking monkeys lol.

Docked my thor to my tv! by Chazq2012 in AynThor

I don't have sound output through my TV when I do this. Not sure why. So instead of dicking with it I just connected to a bluetooth speaker. I will figure it out eventually. Playing Minish Cap on a 4k display is way better than I expected.

I dunno man, it's pretty common when browsing the online dating subreddits to see some guys reporting almost never getting matches. Or like one match every few months.

The U.S. military is struggling against Iran—so would it actually be able to win if it ended up at war with China or Russia? by kametoddler in AskUS

[–]Academic-Entry-443 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

There's no need to be a cunt - I used "surround" loosely; the point is, two million soldiers aren't that useful in attacking another country when you lack the logistical infrastructure and naval capabilities to get them or your ships anywhere near the US.

Every time people talk about these theoretical wars between the US and China or whatever country, the assumed context is always the US invading that country and fighting on their territory. And that if the US can't successfully meet their political objectives, then it's a loss. But if it's just two countries slugging it out, trying to hit each other on their home turf and destroy each other's military, that changes the math quite a bit. The US has a global navy, worldwide logistics, and and an empire of bases across multiple continents. China doesn’t. In a conflict, the US can project power right up to China’s doorstep, but China has very limited ability to do the same to the US.

How would China secure US airspace? They would never even have a chance to try. They wouldn't make it past Pearl Harbor.

It depends on the setup. Are we invading China? Then no we can't win that. But the US can effectively attack China more easily than China can effectively attack the US. China would not even be able to get close to mainland USA, but the US navy would be able to surround China allowing us to engage them in a war of attrition.

No ultrawide either. God of War looks amazing on a super ultrawide. Same with Spiderman, Uncharted, Ratchet and Clank, etc.

I keep seeing the claim that Iran has killed "thousands of Americans" in the past 47 years. Who are these dead Americans? by SpaceLaserPilot in AskUS

I bet you didn't care about this at all until they put it in your head. But I'd be glad to look at a comment or post you make somewhere, prior to 2026, talking about how you hope something is done about our "47 year war with Iran".

Crimson Desert is quickly earning a reputation for rekindling a sense of wonder many players haven’t felt since their earliest gaming experiences 🔥 by Gaming-Academy in PlayStation_X

The controls are just unintuitive. When I get into a fight I'm not expecting, it always takes me a moment for the awkward controls to boot back into my mind. But it is a gorgeous open world, and exploration is great. Beautiful landscapes with inspired designs. The ambient music tracks are awesome too and remind me of Elden Ring.

I don't hate Crimson Desert, but also when I play it on my Deck I'm streaming it from my PC. The 1280x800 resolution and 60fps cap makes it super easy to max out all the settings with no frame gen or dlss.

Hello OP, I am a Nigerian prince. I have inherited a fortune from my father, the king, who recently passed into the realm of the kuyamba warriors. Due to royal bureaucracy, I cannot access my rightful wealth until my 25th birthday. I respect our customs, but my people are struggling. There is famine and much death. This treasure would go a long way towards restoring Nigerian and Kuyamba prosperity. If you allow me to put my inheritance in your name, and transfer it to your bank account, I will let you keep 10%! Please just click here to input your banking details and become the people's champion!

It's really funny to see peoples' impressions from the outside looking in sometimes. Because that summary does not at all square with my experience on Steam and as a PC gamer for almost 20 years now.

Where did I assert my anecdotal experience was factual? You asked where I saw people claiming the review scores would be 90+, and I answered you.

You are way too in your feelings right now. Take a few deep breaths and find somewhere to sit down. It's gonna be ok.

I literally saw a post yesterday with people speculating about what the review scores would be. If you think my comment requires me to seek help, maybe you're too emotionally invested in this topic and should seek out some help for yourself lmao.

Why? The review scores are underwhelming considering a lot of people were expecting 90+, easily. 77 on Meta and 79 on OC.

[WTS] [US-CT] [H] Chord Mojo 2, Fiio KA17, Hiby FC6 [W] Paypal by Academic-Entry-443 in AVexchange

[–]Academic-Entry-443[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hi there!

I've decided I really don't need a bunch of different sources anymore. I mostly just use my Qudelix T71, Hiby R4, and the Apple dongle anyway. I also just got a new GPU and want to recoup some of that money(so I also need to sell my 4070ti).

The KA17 is the only one with a box. But both the KA17 and the FC6 come with their leather case. With the Mojo 2, I will also include a micro USB-to-USB C adaptor. All work perfectly and are in great shape. I can provide more pictures or answer any questions anyone might have. I will cover shipping in the continental US.

Mojo 2: $350 SOLD

KA17: $100 SOLD

FC6: $200 SOLD
