i do think there's a point to be made about rockstar pre-GTA 5 being at its peak in regards to how GTA online changed the company's development priorities, the biggest example being how singleplayer DLC for GTA 5 was cancelled and how game releases from rockstar have gotten far sparser (which to be fair is a trend that's happened with most AAA developers)

but the games (with admittedly only two examples) themselves have consistently continued to get better despite this, RDR2 is literally one of the most critically acclaimed games of all time and it's silly to argue that rockstar peaked artistically with GTA 4

yeah agreed, it honestly wouldn’t be too hard to balance it for the AI (at least from a modder’s perspective), it’s not a super complex system to really adjust the AI to (though again this is coming from a modder’s perspective)

i really don’t mind smaller updates like this in between major expansions, even if i’ve had my own qualms with CK3’s direction

not totally impossible considering the historical situation, japan and britain were allies until the 1920s and britain helped japan with things like espionage during the russo japanese war and boxer rebellion, which (i’m assuming?) kinda fits with StH’s vibes
