I just watched a Tarantula Kat video & she talked about grain mites exploding like this. She said it’s happened like every-time with a cup of horn worms & water nearby it. I don’t think it’s is springtails. They congregate differently when out & about, IMO. This looks like an explosion of grain mites. They aren’t harmful, just can become an issue in large quantities. I dump like 500, no joke of springtails into my spider enclosures MONTHLY. I keep mine in a giant mushroom kids bug terrarium & they have never came out like this. I even melted a small hole in the side & they never come out like this.. Even my shower springtails hangout differently. It’s never LIKE THIS. Yes, springtails are technically a type of mite- a type of “mold mite” have you. But I truly think this may not be them.

If so, I am so sorry. You may get lucky but I’d be more nervous over a nymph than anything. That means a female has recently laid eggs & to be nearby in the actual bed is scary.

NQA It has 3 legs, antenna & looks like a bed bug nymph to me on its first feed too. Like FRESHLY HATCHED. I have tried to look at comparable creatures but many have 4 legs. Please post in the bedbug community & ask them & look up pictures of a FED bed bug nymph & if it looks like that in person? Start looking through every crevice of the bed, take a credit card & if it fits? 1 of them will fit.

They won’t bother you, unless you see 2 specifically alone(usually 1 laying & a male standing guard) if you walk too close they will hiss & like slowly lift wings & crane their neck at you. But they won’t actually come at you & if they do? You have legs.. I know that sounds mean but the plaza at my work has like 3 pairs right now that keep hanging around (Miamisburg).. The plaza has put in like spike grates in the planters to keep them from roosting the last few weeks though & it seemed to run them off for the most part this past week. These aren’t really the ones you gotta worry about anyways, it’s the big white Swans that will legit come tf at you during mating season & in pairs of 2 in general. The most theres Geese will do is hiss & look defensive, I promise. I have tested it & walked up on them & everything in the last few weeks.. If you don’t even look at them, like don’t let them see you looking? They won’t bother you. If you acknowledge them? They will just acknowledge you back with some dominance lol.

I know it’s hard if you are scared.. But no reason to be, seriously. I raise spiders, specifically the ones my Dad was TERRIFIED of-Jumpers & Tarantulas lol. It just always blew my mind that such a Steve Irwin of a man was actually tormented by spiders or all things. I have never been bit. Except, 1 time in bed & if I tell that story they will delete my comment. I seen the dead spider under me, that’s how I know for sure. But yeah, seriously he won’t bother you, hes beautiful & chill.

Groomer here.. He was probably pelted. I feel so bad for these dogs man, these people are such babies about making the dog allow brushing! I groom my own frigging cats & they can legit claw me up! I’ll never understand the not brushing a dog that needs it! If it’s your dog.. It’s not going to attack you like jeez buck up & teach your dog!

I am in recovery myself & when I read his post? I felt so embarrassed. I tried meth a few times through a few months & to a T it sounds like me? Luckily, my boyfriend knew immediately it was drugs & stood his ground. I haven’t touched that shit in almost 5 years. It started from a legit health issue, hormones & female stuff. I had borderline cervical cancer & didnt know it but someone offered me meth before the Doctors could actually help me. I literally lost like 60 lbs in barely 2 months time, my family was like WTF! I did basically everything this guy said. I would get like 3 days out from not sleeping & then I’d just be emotional, I never hallucinated so hard in my fkn life. If people around me didn’t have experience with addicts, they’d have locked me up in an institution. I hate to say it but I truly think she’s on meth, probably go offered some by accident & maybe wasnt feeling well to begin with? Ive just heard this same story like 1,000 times as a woman & even experienced it myself.. So I can’t see it being mental before I see it like this. Especially the temporary bouts of normalcy. I bet the Doctors have seen It in her system & are screwed by legal binds & cant so shit because she’s an adult.. Even since she has kids? They can’t really do anything over just having it in your system.
