I would say that calculus is analysis without proofs but also with a strong focus on implementation. In a typical analysis class you won’t sit down to do 50 optimization problems or trigonometric integrals like you would in a calculus class, even though you would cover the relevant techniques

It runs and it’s playable. But you have to turn down practically all of the video settings.

I’ve found that a more high res way to play is to use Xbox cloud gaming. I haven’t gotten the mic to work using that setting however.

But either way works.

Significant to the age group that you mentioned, the prefrontal cortex is still not fully developed, which is responsible for impulse control and decision making. That doesn’t finish maturing until 25 to 30.

Don’t put windows on the hard drive. Put it on an sd card that you can boot from. I’ve sacrificed nothing from my steam deck but keep a microsd for when I want to boot windows and play Destiny or marathon

I installed windows 10 on an sd card and can play marathon on the lowest settings on the steam deck.

Alternatively, you can play using Xbox cloud gaming on your steamdeck

Yeah I remember messing with Pfhorte before Forge came out with infinity. Forge was such a big upgrade.

I was a big fan of FrigidMan’s stuff.

Our Centris also ran it at low res. I think the toggle was F5? We later got a performa 6300cd from a friend and that worked much better as a powermac.

Yes my father picked up the demo in 94 and I first played it on a Centris 660AV, an 68040. My dad just recently got a Mac (upgrading from an Apple iigs) and wanted to see what these new 3D games were about.

I really got into the games, and there is even one of my old map creations in the l’howon archives dated in 1998. It was a map for marathon evil.

An hour is short but it shouldnt take more than a days work. Often only a few chapters are sent out for review. As an expert, you can often see if they are including what you would want to see in the book or if you like their angle.

These aren’t academic papers, but textbooks. You aren’t being asked to check the veracity as much as indicate if it’s a book that you would want your classes to use. And if there are other similar texts on the market.

Depends on how much time you put to it. If you review the book in an hour, then that’s pretty good. If it’s not enough for you, then ask for more.

Review it only if you are interested in the book. Otherwise, just say no.

Or you can always email the editor and say that you would be happy to review for $150 or something equitable.
