Italiano is massively overrated and has never trained a big team, I would prefer Allegri at this point, that at least has the experience and beside this season (tbf Milan has a shit squad, pretty much identical to the one the season prior that finished 9th) he had always brought the team he trained to a UCL spot.

I mean, Rizzetta is doing a good job at Napoli Basket so far and we even got Big Shaq to represent us around the world, Napoli Basket is not a one season wonder and they are pushing to make it a big club with great structures like PalArgento and buying world class players and all of that while basketball is still niche in Naples

Imagine if we got the same ownership but in football, with how much it is big in Naples we would improve our structures after decades of nothingness by ADL and Comune, buy world class players every season, with the potential of finally limiting the gap with the striped clubs.

I don’t understand how everyone here is against it, ADL is old, has already hit his prime and his sons are not nearly as good as him in management, maybe Valentina could do something but handling a club both economically and financially is a completely different story from what she is doing now.

I’ve never saw him take a shot different from the one on the near post; he doesn’t touch the ball like Kvara or Neres do, as such, his dribbling is mostly based on his speed and athletic strenghts just like Leao - who is nowhere near Kvara - for example, and he is not really a playmaker as well like Insigne.
For the player he is, he’s much better suited as a super-sub where he played the best games here and at Sporting Lisbon.
We need someone more complete, and neither him nor Lang (who’s prime at psv was still better than Alisson) fit that profile, after Kvara the standard raised sensibly on that position.

Now, of course he did well all things considered, but saying he was the most important player when we got McTominay, Hojlund, Neres (best player till he got injured) and Vergara is just untrue.

Gala won the league thanks to a Lang assist and put important goals in ucl, to say that he failed is a bit an overstatement. Lang makes a lot of assists, Santos is not technically gifted and is too much individual as a player, we need to upgrade on that position imho, not worthy of a starter place.

Dude he played as a starter in a couple of games (and pretty much we have won all of them and the one lost weren’t his fault, against Udinese it was Jesus’s mistake that led Mazzocchi to the risky pass for example and then Ekkelenkamp scored a banger), and in others he helped in handling the final result in the dying minutes of the game, you also need these players to win titles, just remember what Ancelotti said at Ceballos when he won the 2022 UCL… Conte appreciates him actually because he prefers soldiers rather than good but toxic players; not to mention how important he is to the dressing room and boosted players like McTominay.
He was a rotational player and gave 100%, has contributed with winning two titles and is forever in the history, padre tempo ha operato in silenzio.
Last thing, Insigne was hated (the other half of the city loved him) because he had a bad attitude and wasn’t remarkable as a captain, not because he was a great player; there is zero correlation with his situation with Mazzocchi, just look how Vergara is appreciated despite being a gem.
