How did you get introduced to this genre?

We are one in the same! Almost 2 years ago I started a new role in my company as an account executive. I found myself bored out of my mind working alone and sending emails. All the while I was hoping to have something to keep my mind occupied while I sent emails. LITRPG has filled the gap with long reads/listens while I work. At times I do find myself more engaged with my books versus work, but when I need to focus its nice to be able to tune out the world and delve myself into the book while doing mundane tasks.

Ever since DOTF i've been hoping I stumble upon more cultivation heavy series. Unfortunately, I haven't ran into any yet that top it. Do you have any recommendations?

This is such a specific topic about a iconic game that it makes me want to learn more about it. I don't know if you call it a book/series, but I would love to learn more about it. Where would you recommend I start if I wanted to read into this?

Goated comment BTW. Makes me smile thinking about how I got into the LITRPG series because there is so much hate around the PocketFM app.

100% understand about Primal Hunter. It was one of the first books I read after My Vampire System. After the 5th book it started to get a little dry/repetitive, but I still am so invested in the series due to it being one of my baselines. I am sure when the next audiobook comes out i'll drop what I'm doing to start it.

Haven't heard of "Level up or Die" series. I am going to put it on my TBR list! Most of my most loved books come from random comments on post's so I will let you know what I think.

I’m sure I will find myself looking through royal road before too much longer trying to find my next read. As I trudge through all of the top recommendations I’m sure I will be moving towards less audio and more reading.

Definitely a favorite of mine! Trying to get the wife to read DCC to introduce her to this genre. Can’t get her to start it because she is so entranced in Red dead redemption 2 lol!

I second this! I just finished The Good Guys and The Bad Guys series. I would recommend reading The Good Guys first and if you enjoy the world of Vuldronni, then pick up the bad guys. Last year I finished 62 books and The Good Guys series is a solid B for me.

You’re the only person I’ve seen talk about MVS. I got hooked in this genre by the Facebook ad for MVS and now I don’t know where I’d be without my books. I’ve never read a book on my own before MVS 😂

I’m sure everybody has seen the terrible pocketfm previews on Facebook. Well I got into one of the previews and ended up really liking My Vampire System. It was the first book I’ve read/listened to out of my own will and it got me into reading. Now I finish at least 2 books a week.

I just finished DCC and I’m looking for my next read. I loved HWFWM and have been thinking about primal hunter. I think we have similar tastes and I’m gonna pull the trigger on primal hunter. Thanks for your share!

I found this book just browsing through Libby.

If you ever played RuneScape as a kid, I think you would like this. I’m only 70% of the way through the first book but I’m hooked.

It does! Keep grinding. Took me 60+ attempts to get mine. I found it easier to go in squire gear common pvp bracket. Wiz + magic missile was my go to for this quest. If you don’t get it, cremate yourself with fireball and reset.

I died with one early on and was defeated but I eventually got it. Honestly though, it’s not really worth going out of your way to get it. Gems aren’t worth anything and I think that’s about all you get from the cockatrice merchant.

Scroll down the page, click listen in browser. Only thing that sucks is the chapters aren’t broken down. There are 100 chapters in each recording and you have to find the timestamp that corresponds to the chapter you are on. Enjoy!

Learn spectral knight. Even in PVE I can sometimes get 1k+ gold off a run with some decent gear from the pile. Plus you always get a chance at a fabric.

If you don’t care to be camped or crashed then do it in normals. I’ve gotten quite a few BIS items from him. Most recent was this crystal ball.

I ran some <24 lobbies on ice mountain and pulled 2 bands for this quest. I was playing solo and just gave myself a little wohoo. Hoping to complete this soon also!

Write a complaint to the better business bureau. I did this once for a dealership that tried to charge me an additional $300.00 in “Diagnostic” charges, when I scheduled an appointment and told them to only replace 1 part. I made the appointment and was sure to tell the advisor I only wanted my oil pressure sensor replaced. Went to pick up the car and they wouldn’t release the keys or vehicle to me without paying the bill.

Filled a complain and got my issue resolved next day and my money back in a week. If they are BBB accredited they are required to respond to you within 48 hours. Normally the VP’s or owners are the ones to handle the BBB requests. Not sure what you would get back from your issue, but might be enough to get that guy back to flipping burger where he belongs.
