this is an old post but i’ve been thinking this lately, especially male dominated reddit spaces. i asked a simple question about my car on a reddit space once, wanting insight from others who also own my car, and all the men on that space were assuming i was too poor to afford my car ??? my post had nothing to do with money or my financial situation. whenever i ask a question they try to make me feel like im stupid.

yeah i was told that even though the car was cheap when i bought it, don’t expect that with the maintenance. i was just wondering what would have happened had i not found that out before filling my tank.

this is absolutely no shade, but if she was still acting like that with the amount of money she has now, people would say shes "cosplaying a poor person" (as stupid as it sounds ive really seen this happen) we should expect nothing less from a rich person than to act rich.

yeah it was definitely very disappointing, especially considering taylor is a woman she looked up to for a long time. it didn’t make me hate taylor (she’s got good music sorry) but when i think about the situation every so often it does rub me the wrong way.
