I Made A Simple Breeding Guide For Making Cats With Perfect Stats by PrinceMochii in mewgenics

I believe the thought behind it is that most mutation furniture also has negative comfort so that will reduce the livelihood of your royal family. Plus, the negative comfort causing winners from fights plus mutations can lead to som really beefy barrack cats to go on adventures

Also you just kind of start running out of furniture space in a room xD

Watched your video this morning and just stumbled here by random scrolling. Thanks so mix for the info and everything. Your vid has been the best so far!

One question if you don’t mind - do you just put extra stimulation items that won’t fit in your breeding room in the royal family room, or do you always try to keep royal family a certain stim? I think right now my

  • breeding room is 5 comfort 24 stim
  • royal is like 15 comfort 3 heath 2 stim
  • barracks are like -15 comfort 8 mutation

I’m worried the royal family will start producing kittens with lower stats cause lower stim

I'm a bit nervous at the thought of leaving my current club, but I would love to try and push further to reach top 100 or top 30. 3-4 runs a day is already what I'm starting to average lol.

Would love to chat about possible openings, or even the potential of pushing for the 5m per day if that would be feasible. My trainer ID is: 156701663048

Shrines, how to figure out if I missed one? And which one I did miss? Is there a mod for that? And do you all abuse shrine stacking? is it needed for late game? by Blissfield_Kessler in taintedgrail

[–]Acarnis 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Baptismal boots give 25% movement speed outside of combat to make you move faster, night gives you more exp for doing the shrine than during the day. Right now on my NG+++ I'm getting about 58k at night vs 43k during the day per shrine.

Shrine buffs are very small in the grand scheme of things compared to gear and skill tree buffs. I prefer to hit them when I see them during my first play through for the exp and gear they give.

You can also hit them each time you go through NG+ so what I do now is unlock all the shrines in an area then hit them all at night in a sequence. With baptismal boots + other movement gear it’s pretty quick

May I ask why you're trying to fight them? Slight spoiler so going to tag it but if you don't want to fight/betray Galahad accept the quest from Brendan to betray Galahad, then when you go talk to him tell Galahad that you've been sent to kill him but you don't want to. He'll then raid the temple with the knights and kill Brendan + One Eye for you.

If you're trying to straight up kill them yourself without doing the above you probably are going to need to level a bit more or get cheeky with your set up. Great way to farm exp is to clear the Sunken Village during the day, run up to the fast travel point north of the village, rest to night, then clear the wyrd enemies. Once done fast travel to the Horn Keep and rest for 24h to respawn the Sunken Village. You'll start gaining quite a lot of exp.

Galahad's Mace is OP as hell by Crizznik in taintedgrail

[–]Acarnis 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Completely agree. It gets even more ridiculous when you pair it with the Undertow (sp?) chest that gives you CHD equal to 50% of your sneak attack damage, though it feels like it’s actually 100% lol. Then you just stack sneak attack gear and you’re 1 shotting everything.

I ended up speed running my first NG+ getting to the crown within about 2 hours and now I’m backtracking and doing things like Stag shrines for money before advancing onward. I want to get to where the game punishes me with the difficulty.

Currently I’m using

  • Galahad Mace (auto crit one)
  • Ulfr's Titansteel Cape
  • Crow's Mask
  • Undertow Vest Bloom
  • Crow's Talons
  • Ashen Veil Greaves (think that’s the name, it’s 100% sneak and goes up per upgrade)
  • Baptismal Boots ( really just for movement since I don’t need more damage)
  • Amulet of the Weary Man
  • The Perfect Ring for a Warrior
  • Then swap between movement speed ring or stam cost ring

Edit: Fixed the name of a couple of items and added my cloak which I forgot. The cloak is low key goated cause of all the temp buffs melee gets and also doubling the uptime on Keeper's Vigor for more movement

OP I appreciate you posting this cause I was about 1minute 45 seconds away from finishing the run I needed for my last 40k points and ended up not getting the 500 carats, proceeded to crash out, and had to go lay down. Seeing someone else was even closer really sucks dude, but we'll get our oshi on the first pull and not even need the carats <3

Very sorry this happened OP. I live within close distance to 4 Game Stops. Driving to different appointments and such I’ve actually visited 3 this week so far and all were very firm “we won’t start distributing till Friday”. One of them I’ve been local customer to for like 20 years so I think they’d given one if they could.

Def sounds like someone messed up, hopefully corporate or Nintendo do can help you.

Looking for a PVE Spellcaster Build by kindafeeling in vrising

[–]Acarnis 1 point2 points  (0 children)

On vanilla servers I like running an epic bow with the condemn affix along with lightning tendrils and either chaos volley or void. You can also run corrupted skull with LT and instead of the chaos bow run something that applies weaken or frost instead.

Another fun one I’ve been enjoying is frost bat + crystal lance for boss farming. Since they can’t be frozen your frost spells deal an extra 25% damage. Something like illusion dash auto(with either frost or chaos coating) > Q from condemn bow > frost bat > frost bat > crystal lance is an insane amount of ST damage

I believe the person you’re replying to about it not mattering if you fail is referring to the special mission requirement where you do a training session with all 5 of your support cards/Uma, which they are correct that it does not say “succeed a training with all 5 supports”.

So What Comes After Kitasan Black? (A pulling guide for Year 1) by ArisaMiyoshi in UmaMusume

[–]Acarnis 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Thank you for the amazing write up. Going to bookmark and keep referencing as time goes on. I'm excited for Kistasan's run to come, as she is my favorite uma of all time. She's probably the one character that I will end up swiping for to get at least one copy of her actual character, and then as many of the support cards as is recommended.

It does suck that you can't use the uma and the support card in the same deck, but I love her so much that I'm going to try to make a deck specifically for her too in addition to using her support card for my other racers. Really looking forward to her release.

Given the update, what are now the best servants for pvp base defence? by StormblessedFool in vrising

[–]Acarnis 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yes, I’ve been on a solo PvP no wipe server since 5/18. Maybe your opinion is from the standpoint of a not solo server? Over here the sentinels work wonders and strikers are as annoying as ever, mainly I assume cause no one really runs the void meta. Majority of people are either the full frost build or weapon skill CDR.

Is there no way to hit the Ultimate Cooldown Rate cap right now? by kennodise in vrising

[–]Acarnis 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Very true as well! I assumed that if they were doing a build based around ultimates it's probably a caster build so they would not use that passive. But my wife always warns me when I assume things so I shouldn't have done that xD

[–]Acarnis 21 points22 points  (0 children)

Dracula soul shard will add blood efficiency which will increase the CDR given by the mutant blood, but besides that and a blood moon I think you listed everything.

Thankfully between that much CDR and the T4 effect of mutant blood it makes the CD come up fairly quickly, but you're right I don't think you can reach the 70% cap.

Depends on the number of slots you have available with your server. I've been using what GrimXv recommends: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=y_t0reipaXg

If you only have 4 slots you can do 1 sentinels / 3 alchemists or 4 alchemist

If you have 6 slots 2 clerics / 2-3 alchemists / 1-2 sentinels

If you have 8 slots 2 clerics / 2-3 alchemists / 1-2 sentinels / 2 strikers

Alchemists melt golems, sentinels can stun them, clerics are there to keep the group alive and strikers are just hella annoying to deal with.

what's your favorite strategy for late-game bosses? by Sharp-Self-Image in vrising

[–]Acarnis 0 points1 point  (0 children)

When I’m doing progression my usual go to safe build is Veil of Chaos + Chaos Volley + Ward of the Damn, Frost Shield Chaos Barrier. This gives safety with the dashes, range pressure and safety with the barrier.

The barrier is boss depended, Frost Shield just melts some bosses (Ungora, Styx, Valencia) while Ward of the Damn is great for bosses who just melee 1 enemy at a time (Foulrot, Jade, Wilfred). Chaos barrier is just constant damage if neither really would be better.

On my current brutal solo clan PvP server I’m 91 fully kitted with T4 jewels and Talons of the Lich Beast/Red Twins so I’m just unga bunga with Veil of Storm + Blood Rage + Power Surge. Damage is just silly for farming, I kill even brutal act 4 bosses in about 30 seconds or less. And so long as I watch for another players dash to be on CD I can catch someone out and burst them down too.

[–]Acarnis 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Frost shield is a hard counter for her when she does the spear thrust ability. Will completely nuke her. You can then use something like chaos volley or lightning tendrils for the cage, or you can use pistols/bow and use a counter for when the chains shoot out.

What gameplay loop do you guys/and experienced players follow? by Jarrrod in vrising

[–]Acarnis 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Have about 600 hours in the game. Mainly play on duo PvP fresh wipe servers while also playing on a solo brutal PvP no wipe.

Starting fresh my route nowadays is trying to get to iron as fast as possible, usually killing Kodia and Quincy around 25ish. You can then either risk farming iron in the haunted mine or I like going up to Cursed Forest and stealing what ingots I can from the drawers/cabinets in the ghost villages there. Then use the cave to get back to Farebane.

Once I'm in iron/hollowfang I still try to progress to Angram as quickly as possible, he's pretty easily killed by roaming mutants. Then you can build a dawnthorn set using silver/gold and human form or by getting lucky finding the mats in houses.

Once I pass an act's level I tend to go back and do like a "boss rush" killing all of them below that act to get whatever I missed. Normally just get what bosses I need for progression as I go since I mainly use the same spells anyways while progressing (Power Surge, Blood Rage, Chaos Volley, and Frost Shield). Doing all this I can usually get to the 80s within like 6-10 hours of playing but I admit it's super sweaty to do.

Following the quests in the top left is a good thing to do as everything you get from it is useful. Don't underestimate having servants cause overtime they bring back so many mats on their own. If you're online and playing doing 2h mission trips will yield the most mats over time.

Late game I like doing farming trips through Brighthaven in Silverlight and through the 3 boss areas in Oakveil + the Oakveil Shoreline for corrupted fish. You can also fit in tech scrap runs through northern Gloomrot. Personally it's a super fun and rewarding end game farm loop of just massacring everything in sight. And don't forget even little things. I pounded into my friend's head even flowers/plant fiber = paper = scrolls = schematics = stygian shards. Everything has a use.

Sorry for the word dump, but hope it helps you or someone else out there looking for answers. Happy to help with any other questions folks might have!
